School in Denmark bans traditional song about blonde girl because foreign teacher is offended

A couple of things I noted reading the article:

1. It doesn't say what the offending lyrics were or why it's a symbol of the nation, and it's pretty sparse.

2. The site raised an eyebrow as to the authenticity.

Because of 2, I did about 5 minutes of research on the site. It has no connection to any major news network, and most of it's investors are unknown. It's known for writing smear campaigns and anti-foreigner, anti-EU, alt-right material.

In other words it's a propaganda site that uses fabricated and distorted facts to push an agenda.

Fake news.

"No ban of Christmas song about blonde girl, confirms CBS

Copenhagen Business School has sought to clarify that it has at no point banned the Christmas song ‘Den danske sang er en ung blond pige’. Two years ago, a manager apologised to a female researcher who privately complained she did not feel included when the song was performed – a revelation uncovered by the P1 radio station on Saturday and subsequently jumped on by the Danish-speaking world – due to her not being ethnically Danish. Several MPs have suggested the woman is depressed and needs to take some ‘happiness pills’."

Yea I was doing my own research (on Google) and to no surprise, Stormfront was also discussing this same issue as well

Socialists are in short supply, unless socialists love free market economy and capitalists owning the means of production.
When a U.S. conservative uses the term "socialist", they usually mean anyone left of Mussolini rather than actual socialists.

You're fighting a losing battle.
I've argued that Denmark is capitalist....Danes say
they're capitalist... but rightish & leftish partisans
here keep calling'm socialist. It's really odd.

It is strange, but I guess both are willing to let go of the definitions to make the countries here something they're not. Well, it's politics and not many politicians care for truth.

I think that is more to do with the US definition of socialism; it appears to mean 95% to communism.
Whereas in Europe, socialism isn't used as a scare tactic. Socialism works with capitalism, all socialism means is more help for the less well off, more Government intervention.
