Those tenets are absolutely pathetic.
Why are you complaining so much? Surely you are getting what you wanted when you started the thread.
You're projecting.Estrino Felino gave here reaction and thoughts, as you asked but you condemn here for that and start mocking her on behalf of everyone (see post 9) whoever this everyone might be.
You are polluting your own thread and you can't see it.
I suppose that the satanist in the video is wanting to mock Christianity and Christians also.
That's fine if someone doesn't want to see it, but it's not fine to spam the thread with unfounded presumptions and defiant, willful ignorance. What purpose does it serve?I love your dedication. Lest it be misinterpreted, one doesn't need to view a movie to decide whether or not it is something that one wants to see.
This was from a few years ago, so some of you may have seen this already, but what are your thoughts?
It was very cringe to watch grown adults behave like this. And I'm talking about the Methodists.

What's truly frightening is that they're elected officials. It was very cringe to watch grown adults behave like this. And I'm talking about the Methodists.
You praise and defend Conservative Christianity so it's no surprise to hear you say that. Those tenets are absolutely pathetic.
And worse how they make it obvious they have no intentions in sharing society or the rights bestowed upon us.What's truly frightening is that they're elected officials.
You're problem--consistently so--is trying to apply Italian standards to America. It doesn't work. Seriously, Scientology does no good, it is abusive (even towards children), they do harass and stalk people, they stalk and threaten former members, and they have very predatory and manipulative practices. They fought for religious recognition purely and solely for the tax benefits and they got it.Exactly, they are cultural associations.
For example Buddhism or Hinduism have demonstrated their purpose is to improve society, so they have been recognized by the State.
For them it really is a war of the righteousAnd worse how they make it obvious they have no intentions in sharing society or the rights bestowed upon us.
You do have to watch it if you don't want to look like a holier than thou fool who is just fine and dandy speaking on grounds of pure ignorance and would rather do that than be informed and making statements based in facts and not fantasy.I love your dedication. Lest it be misinterpreted, one doesn't need to view a movie to decide whether or not it is something that one wants to see.
It really is, and they see the Devil in every corner and shadow. For them it really is a war of the righteous
against the wicked. Go figure.
They are anti-LGBT, they are anti education, anti-intelligence, they are controlling of women, they think working against Global Warming is going against gods plans and actions, they harass people going to sex shops, they often defend beating children, they berate "sinners" and are such nasty people causing so much harm some have called the police regarding a statue of a homeless Jesus in front of their church, and in the OP they are refusing to share the equal rights the Constitution grants us.An example?
Conservatives see themselves as ardent defenders of freedom, but only if they agree with what you do or say (which of course isn't freedom at all). And worse how they make it obvious they have no intentions in sharing society or the rights bestowed upon us.
I know such people. They believe the Dark LordIt really is, and they see the Devil in every corner and shadow.
Well, isn't the tree of knowledge a wicked thing? They are anti-LGBT, they are anti education, anti-intelligence...
Oh, you girlies....not noticing their....they are controlling of women...
Yes and no. People who have little control or a percieved lack of control in their life makes it easier to find boogeymen to blame. It actually makes sense from their perspective, especially when you consider passages like 1 Peter 5:8 (the devil is like a roaring lion waiting to devour) and Ephesians 6:10-18 (donning the armor of god).I know such people. They believe the Dark Lord
exists, & controls people. Very strange way to
see reality, eh.
That's why Scientology is not recognized. But many other religions are, like Buddhism or LDS Church. You're problem--consistently so--is trying to apply Italian standards to America. It doesn't work. Where do men need their wife's permission to get a vasectomy? Where do men have to clear needless hurdles to have his reproductive choices?Oh, you girlies....not noticing their
being controlling of menfolk too.
Only the flavor of control differs.
Scientology IS recognized! That's why Scientology is not recognized. But many other religions are, like Buddhism or LDS Church.
