Satan, Lucifer and the Devil

Is Satan, Lucifer and the Devil the same entity as per the Abrahamic texts?

One thing I would like to point out. The concept that you a familiar with of these terms are of christian background and not Torath Mosheh Jewish background. Also, please be aware that Jewish texts are going to be in Hebrew and Aramaic. Where most christian ideas on this topic are be from translations of translations that Christians produced, normally from Greek texts or from Greek concepts. Thus, the two can't be grouped into Abrahamic texts. The distinction is important since when Jews read the Tanakh they are not reading the same thing when compared to the Christian Old Testament translations used by the vast majority of Christians worldwide.

Thus, in Torath Mosheh Hebrew texts of the Tanakh there is no such thing a lucifer or a devil. These two words are not even Hebrew in the first place. The term (שטן) "pronounced" "satan" in Hebrew does not come with capital letters. Thus, a (שטן) satan can be either a) anything and anyone who stands in the way of human action or b) a particular aspect of reality the Source of reality/creation put in place to effect the human ability to have free will by giving humanity the ability to turn away from sensible decisions.

I have started a thread to discuss the correct concepts and terminology of the Hebrew language and Jewish historical culture which may be confused due to westernized/christianized terms.
