Putin and his cronies truly have no shame. It is pretty obvious who was responsible for the gas attack in Syria, and it certainly isn't the Rebels. Assad has a history of using gas against his own citizens, and, unlike the rebels, actually has the capability for manufacturing chemical weapons that can be dropped from bombers.

Ehhhhhhhh. While we aren't the bestest buddies we aren't enemies either. I think we need to be cautious with Russia to avoid any escalation and conflict. To not heed the lessons of the Cold War could produce problems later.

How is this a plausible reason? I am against theocracies in any form, and I would never be OK with dropping gas bombs on civilians.
