The problem with this is later Reagan was a big supporter of Medicare. So I guess by the definition of todays extreme right wing even Ronald Reagan was a socialist.
Also if Ronald Reagon was a prophet it was because he used Astrology charts in the oval office. He had one on his desk.

Both sound like a lot of Bull. Tayloring the emotions of others with key words as all politicians do. The truth always falls in the middle somewhere.
As to medicine in the United States. The current system is not working. My income went down 3 consequtive years due to the cost of insurance going higher than my raise. This year instead of raising the cost they raised the dedutibles(isn't that the same).
The charges are not equal. I work full time both my sons births cost me $5,000 dollars out of pocket 22,000 to the insurance company. My brother in law who makes less than 20,000 a year and has no insurance paid 250.00. How is this fair.
Doctors don't charge the same. My long time doctor preformed a physical on me to the tune of 35.00. When I told him my company was paying he charged 85.00. Some doctor saw my son when he was a baby. Not covered by my insurance. He charge 2000. My insurance would not cover it but said acceptable charges would only be 750. I complained and they dropped it to 750 in less than 5 minutes and only one person. Do doctors overcharge or not?
The new thing to beat the insurance companies, Doctors are charging to be a prefered client. This allows you special care from the doctors what it is really doing is shuffling off on the interns the patients that don't front the yearly fee. Not coverable by insurance.
I'll try something new. Obama's plan or anyone's. The current systom is broken how do you suggest we fix it.

Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, Public Schools, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the CDC and NIH, the FDIC, the FHA, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Civil Rights Act, OSHA, the National Weather Service, the Federal School Lunch Program, the Department of Education, the FDA, Head Start, Welfare, Unemployment etc, etc...
(At one time or another all of these programs, acts, and departments were accused of being socialistic, intrusive on states rights, or governmental overreaching.)

:ignore:like most prophecies & & reagan's policy positions, these have no basis in reality. looking back to reagan for political guidance has as much value in it as looking to nbc for guidance in running a television channel.
