Faith vs. Evdence.

Romans 10:2

Does evidence circumvent faith?

"For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge."

The Greek word translated "knowledge" here is "epignōsis " and it doesn't just mean knowing about something in a basic kind of way....according to Strongs, but it means "precise and correct knowledge". So even though there are many who have faith and a zeal for God. it is based more on an emotional attachment to him rather than on "precise and correct knowledge" about him.

So rather than evidence circumventing faith......"accurate knowledge" of God and the Bible will build faith because evidence will be interpreted in the correct manner....according to the truth of God's word.
