I've only known him a couple weeks, but he was an interesting
guy, & fellow antique machine tool enthusiast. He also worked
in aerospace (as did I) back in Californiastan. We both did flight
controls, but his work was far more sophisticated.
He had 2 bouts of pneumonia earlier this year, his heart was
tired, & his kidneys were failing. But he was feeling good,
& was only 90 years old. He had big plans to carry out still.

I count myself lucky indeed to have gotten to know him,
& work on a museum project together.

My advice....
Carry out your plans. Ya never know when the fickle finger
of fate will decide to **** you up mess with you. Enjoy life.
Don't let the political climate bring you down.

You know the old Chinese curse...."May you live
in interesting times.". The trick is to focus upon
the interesting aspect rather cursed aspects.

Now I need to get ahold of Bob's heirs (if he has any).
I sent him a couple checks for antique machine tools,
& the might never be cashed.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.

That's why I listen to George Carlin now. I now know why old guys proverbialy just play checkers and let the young uns do the same things while we casually watch the spectacle unabated.
