Right Wing BBC backs racism

Isn't this the same BBC that was accused of being left wing when Margaret Thatcher was in office?
The article was in the Guardian...

It's kind of complicated but yes, they used to be considered left wing. Nowadays it gets a bit murky.

As a rule of thumb their comedy programmes tend to lean left and their news reporting tends to lean right. Conservatives have regularly been the butt of jokes for the comedians but right wing parties get a lot more screen time in the news (for example, UKIP received far more coverage than the Greens despite being a smaller party).

It hasn't been that long ago that the BBC was accused of being left leaning- from 2014 (there are others):
Tories at war with 'biased BBC' - Telegraph

Here's some funny stuff:

PETER OBORNE: Nigel Farage's blustering about BBC 'bias' exposed his gaping flaws | Daily Mail Online

And they make a big deal about Trump and CNN MSNBC

Ask labour (left) and particularly Jeremy Corbyn about the BBC "fair and unbiased" views.

But its complicated, lightweight, entertainment programs tend to be centre to left leaning. News and politics is the other way.

Indeed, the Mail wants to close down the BBC tomorrow and instead we'd have Fox News

Do you have any problem with a third party deciding for you what you should and should not read or trust? I do, too much room for abuse and censorship. I will read it for myself and if I choose to do the research and I deem it unworthy then I will make that decision. Still, the BBC has long been accused of left wing bias.

Interestingly, the mails accusation is that the BBC is left biassed but for a newspaper (and i use the term in its broadest possible sense) that, to quote Jimmy Wales of Wikipedia, has "mastered the art of running stories that aren’t true" i would take this accusation with a few grains of salt

I have no problem with well researched factual advise.

Microsoft does not tell you not to read it, it advises that the site as

“this website generally fails to maintain basic standards of accuracy and accountability”

“has been forced to pay damages in numerous high-profile cases”.

“the site regularly publishes content that has damaged reputations, caused widespread alarm, or constituted harassment or invasion of privacy"

Then the option us yours, if you like reading headlines like

“Woman, 63, ‘becomes PREGNANT in the mouth’ with baby squid after eating calamari”

Then feel free to exercise your right to read it

The "impartial" BBC has been a mouth piece for the right for a long time. I am not surprised they consider they would rather be seen as racist than to utter a word against gropy boy

I'm not sure I understand... if you are on the right... you are racist?

I did not say that but the bbc (their current affairs programming) is right wing biased and they would rather be seen as racist than utter a word against gropy boy (Trump) who as you know is very (very) right wing.

Note, my post is about the bbc and their attitude, not about the right in general. Although in my experience the right do tend to the xenophobic and racist camps more than the centre and left of political opinion

Ron Liddle and The Sun are really the right people to tell us about the BBC??
They are in your territory, the far right, Thatcher was a left wing socialist according to Liddle.

Pot calling kettle sooty.

At least, Rod Liddle and The Sun are not supporting the Loony Left like some I could mention.

What are their policies again?

As opposed to the raging right who run roughshod over democracy, cheat and lie to the extent their policies dont hold up under democratic scrutiny

Remember Hillsborough? 30 years after the Suns giant lie their rag is still not sold in Liverpool.

I dont see that they have changed any
