Aah, a Tu quoque fallacy . . .

Naah, just jerking your chain. That was the first one that came to mind.

There was one that threw me off once, when I didn't know what it was at the time: "argumentum ad verecundiam" (an argument using respect for great men, customs, institutions, and authority in an attempt to strengthen one’s argument and provide an illusion of proof).

The problem that I find is when you have a poster who uses what they believe to be fallacies to deflect in the argument, soon you go down the rabbit hole of what is or is not a fallacy the actual debate is lost in the crap generated by that persons post.
