RF (Religious Forums) FIGHT CLUB (without breaking rules)!

Alright ladies and gents, welcome to the Grand Opening of the RF (Religious Forums) FIGHT CLUB (without breaking rules)!!!!

What I'd like this thread, is for this to be a safe and civil space to bring your very best rhetoric and arguments for your beliefs, why you're the toughest, you're the best, your the ones who should get the recruits! I want the Anti-Religious to come in here, armed to the teeth with all their arguments against their favorite enemy factions, and I want everyone to attack everyone, a free for all to see who comes through as the most right of all, on any and all issue, every issue, most specifically, why you do what you do, why you think its best, why you think everyone else is really not right or wrong, bish bash boom smack skittle!

Behold my Religion:

I believe that God has created a system for this world, like evolution, where all sorts of forces are competing and influencing and mixing and combatting one another, strengthening one another, and vying.

The Qur'an repeatedly refers to this activity, saying that God has set up the various factions, even all the enemies, and basically the God of Valhalla, and we are to vie and compete in the truth, in good deeds, in explanations, in refinements, into coming to better, into coming to the best. With Science, with War, with all these inventions put into our hands to VIE! Until something, perhaps something monstrous, emerges from the (purely intellectual) BLOODBATH!

Yea! The God of the Blood, Whose Put Fury in our Veins! Frustration in our Hearts! Who Spreads mankind through rigorous wrestling and intercourse! I know no other!

What did the Lord say to Arjuna? Insisting that he should fight! The Qur'an's message? Fight! What do we have to do all our lives? From the day we are born! FIGHT!

Yeah! The Struggle! We are Born into the Fray! We bet on our Horses, we Dawn Our Armor! We Try to Survive!

SO MY NOBLE SEATED WARRIORS! Build up your straw men, and set them on fire! Attack all the others, make your strongest cases against everything that you can, and FOR everything you hope in!

This is a call to arms (to be used to type your strongest arguments and cases for and against absolutely whatever at all you think is right and best or not or the truth and the right religions or way of life, so Atheists are absolutely important in this Free For All that follows the rules but takes them right to the edge, to the windowwww to the waaaall, anyone remember that song?)

My God is Shao Khan, Whose yours?! I've Got Shivers! FIGHT!

Well, I know Jesus said the greatest is the least. And that those taking the lead must be the ones ministering. To minister is to serve. A servant is not greater than the ones he serves.

As for being a Jehovah's Witness, people have this mistaken idea that anyone can become one. That is far from the truth. One has to live by Bible standards to be a Jehovah's Witness. And most people today do NOT live by Bible standards.

To be a witness for Jehovah one first has to study the Bible, accept that Jehovah is God through their study, realize that Jesus Christ is God's son and the means of salvation for mankind. They also have to be morally clean. They cannot do drugs, practice any form of unclean spiritism (occult practices) be a thief, use tobacco, be in a sexually immoral relationship. Anything in the Bible that is sex outside the Christian bond of marriage between a man and a woman is sexual immorality. You can not be an adulterer, an idolater, worship idols, a drunkard, a slanderer, a dishonest person, a cheater, a disobedient person, one who disobeys the laws of the land where they do not conflict with God's standards of conduct. They cannot participate in politics or be a solider.

I also see this mistaken belief by people that Jehovah's Witnesses want to convert anyone and everyone. True, they would love for all to become clean and serve Jehovah God. But they have no notion that will ever happen. They preach the truth and live the Bible's moral standards, and anyone wanting to be part of them must elevate their moral standards, their spiritual standards, to those of the true God Jehovah.

I will share a prophecy with you concerning God's standards for true worship and how not just anyone can carry his name. In Ezekiel an angel was told to measure out the measurements of God's place of worship. And the gates that were placed where a person was to pass through to enter God's place of worship were high and there were angelic guards guarding the entrance to the courtyard of true worship:

1102017174_univ_cnt_6.jpg

"When he measured the threshold of the gate, its width was one reed, and the width of the other threshold was also one reed. 7 Each guard chamber was one reed long and one reed wide, and there were five cubits between the guard chambers. The threshold of the gate beside the porch of the gate facing the interior measured one reed."
-Ezekiel 40:6, 7.

Thus to even enter into the courtyard to serve Jehovah with his witnesses one must meet God' elevated moral standards. Angelic guards are also preventing anyone immoral from entering in. And if anyone does enter and become immoral they cannot remain.

You don't want to mess with Jehovah's people either. They have a living God protecting them.

Nope, there is no way I could do this without breaking a rule... lol
Haha, how hard can it be!? Lets get the rules out here first so we know what they are:

Ok:
RF Rules
Summary of RF Rules
1. Personal comments about Members and Staff
2. Discussion/Dispute of Moderation
3. Trolling and Bullying
4. Soliciting/Advertising and Off-Topic Spam
5. Obscene Language and Adult/Violent Content
6. Illegal Activities
7. Quotations and Citations/References
8. Preaching/Proselytizing
9. Subverting/Undermining the Forum Mission
10. Debating in Non-debate Forums or Posting in DIR/ONLY Forums

If you feel content breaks the rules of the forum, please click the REPORT button associated with the content. For rule violations in the chat room, please take screen captures and post them in Site Feedback.

1. Personal Comments About Members and Staff
Personal attacks and name-calling, whether direct or in the third person, are strictly prohibited on the forums. Critique each other's ideas all you want, but under no circumstances personally attack each other or the staff. Quoting a member's post in a separate/new thread without their permission to challenge or belittle them, or harassing staff members for performing moderation duties, will also be considered a personal attack.

2. Discussion/Dispute of Moderation
To ensure that members respect and abide by moderation decisions, and to respect the privacy and reputation of our members, there must be no discussion of the moderation of content or members in public areas. Furthermore, members whose content was acted upon (either edited or deleted) may not re-post the content anywhere on the forum without staff permission.

In all cases of dispute, members are to create a thread in the Site Feedback forum and politely discuss their case with the staff team, rather than with individual staff members. Threads in Site Feedback will only be visible to the member who created the thread and the staff team. Site Feedback discussions are considered part of moderation between members and staff and may not be discussed in public areas. General issues and concerns about moderation can also be directed to Site Feedback.

3. Trolling and Bullying
Where Rule 1 covers personal attacks, Rule 3 governs other behaviors and content that can generally be described as being a jerk. Unacceptable behaviors and content include:

1) Content (whether words or images) that most people would find needlessly offensive, especially when such content is posted just to get a rise out of somebody and/or is not part of a reasoned argument.

2) Defamation, slander, or misrepresentation of a member's beliefs/arguments, or that of a particular group, culture, or religion. This includes altering the words of another member to change their meaning when using the quote feature.

3) Antagonism, bullying, or harassment - including but not limited to personal attacks, slander, and misrepresentation - of a member across multiple content areas of the forums. Repeatedly targeting or harassing members of particular groups will also be considered bullying.

4. Soliciting/Advertising and Off-Topic Spam
Soliciting or advertising for any content outside of the forums, whether your own or that of another person or group, is prohibited, and may be deleted by the staff on sight. This rule applies to any content area of the forum, including but not limited to the chat room, forum posts, profile information, private conversations, and signatures. Special exception may be granted to promote content in keeping with the mission of RF, but requires advance permission from the RF staff.

Spam or off-topic content is also not allowed on the forums. This includes (but is not limited to) posting links or images without discussion-promoting commentary, having a signature that violates signature size guidelines, posting surveys without permission from the RF staff, posts that deviate significantly from a thread topic or its intent, repetitious non-conversational posts, and any other habits deemed spammy by the staff.

5. Obscene Language and Adult/Violent Content
The public content areas of RF must maintain the equivalent of a PG-content rating. This means no profanity, sexually suggestive/explicit content (except in the Eros Room*), or violent/disturbing content. Automated filters catch most, but not all, profane language; members are responsible for ensuring their posts are profanity-free. Use of disturbing content may be acceptable if put in spoilers and it is relevant to the topic of discussion, but gratuitous content is never allowed and spoilered content is still subject to moderation.

*Sexually explicit content is allowed in the Eros Room (a private group/forum restricted to members 18 years or older), but nowhere else. Pornography and sexually extreme/vulgar content is never permitted, even in the Eros Room.

6. Illegal Activities
Advocating or discussing personal engagement in illegal activities or criminal organizations (such as hate groups or terrorist groups) is prohibited in all areas of RF. Illegal activities are defined based on United States law, and include but are not limited to: drug use, theft, piracy, vandalism, and all violent crimes. Voicing opposition to illegal activities and criminal organizations, or debating changes to current criminal law, may be acceptable at the discretion of the RF staff.

7. Quotations and Citations/References
Plagiarism is illegal. All quotations, whether to posts of other members or to material external to RF, should be properly referenced or cited. When quoting other members, use the forum's quote feature so the person and material you are responding to are easily referenced (see Rules 1 and 3 for additional guidelines regarding quoting other members' posts). When quoting material external to RF, even if it is your own, always provide a citation and limit your quotation to a paragraph or two rather than quoting the entire content (see Rule 4 for additional guidelines).

8. Preaching/Proselytizing
Creating (or linking to) content intended to convert/recruit others to your religion, spirituality, sect/denomination, or lack thereof is not permitted. Similarly, attempting to convert others away from their religion, spiritual convictions, or sect/denomination will also be considered a form of preaching. Stating opinions as a definitive matter of fact (i.e., without "I believe/feel/think" language, and/or without references) may be moderated as preaching.

9. Subverting/Undermining the Forum Mission
The mission of Religious Forums is to provide a civil, informative, respectful, and welcoming environment where people of diverse beliefs can discuss, compare, and debate. Content members create while debating and discussing must be done in the spirit of productivity. Bashing other forums, creating unproductive content or responses to others, attempting to use this site as a platform for campaigning for or against or furthering a personal agenda, and attempting to undermine the forum mission may result in moderation.

10. Debating in Non-debate Forums or Posting in DIR/ONLY Forums
Religious forums is structured to provide spaces for many different kinds of conversations. Different kinds of conversations belong in different areas of the forum:

1) Debates should be kept to the debate areas of the forums, including Religious Debates, General Debates, and Political Debates. Debating anywhere other than these forums may result in moderation. Same Faith Debates is governed by special rules described here. Only members of the specified groups(s) can participate in these threads.

2) All DIR (Discuss Individual Religions) forums are for the use of members who identify with those groups or practices. Debating is not permitted in DIRs; debates between members of specified groups should be posted in Same Faith Debates. A member may select up to a maximum of three (3) DIRs with which they identify. A member may change their selection of DIRs at any time, but the total number of DIRs selected must never exceed three (3). Members who do not identify with a DIR group may not post in that DIR section; we recommend creating a thread in the Religions Q&A instead where there is more freedom to comment. DIR forums are not to be used as a cover to bash others outside of the DIR group.

3) The Political World forum has several "only" subforums that are for the use of members who identify with those political leanings. Members who do not identify with those political leanings are not allowed to post there. "Only" subforums are not to be used as a cover to bash others outside of the "Only" group
Private Forums
These are strictly for members of the indicated group. People other than members of the indicated group are prohibited. For example, to be a member of the Catholic group, you must be a Catholic. To Join a group, click on your username at the top right corner of the screen, click on "Join User Groups," and select the group you would like to join by clicking on the "Join User Group" button. Requests to join user groups must be approved by a member of the staff.

These rules cover most common situations, but they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently, we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

So to rephrase in terms for Religious Forums:

Thou SHALT simply NOT insult one another in TOO CLEARLY A PERCEIVABLE FASHION or:
Matthew 10:16 Multilingual: Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.

Whatever you say or DO here, be ready to SLITHER OUT OF IT.

You may QUESTION and CALL INTO QUESTION the various others and other beliefs in particular, and if you can separate individuals from the beliefs they are representing, that may make it seem less personal, so if someone beliefs Hot Dogs are Magical Amulets, and you think that is stupid, don't call them a stupid head for believing such (even though you may, thank GOD, think it, without consequences until the DAY OF JUDGMENT), but instead explain why you think such an idea doesn't make sense or seems wrong to you or bad with your strongest arguments. If you can exchange words like "stupid" for less harsh words like "silly" that may also save you, and if you can totally skip all such terminology, it may be for the best.

You may need to shout to yourself at home though:

Well, I know Jesus said the greatest is the least. And that those taking the lead must be the ones ministering. To minister is to serve. A servant is not greater than the ones he serves.

Alright, our first contender!

You are a Jehovah's Witness! Representing Jehovah's Witnesses. You may not be expected to get the best for all your hard work, because the Select are pure and virgins or something and have already been selected right? The ones who get the very best?

Alright, so, lets begin with this swipe:
Matthew 5:39 But I tell you not to resist an evil person. If someone slaps you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also;
Love Your Enemies
38You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye and tooth for tooth.’ 39But I tell you not to resist an evil person. If someone slaps you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also; 40if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well;
41and if someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. 42Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you. 43You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor’ and ‘Hate your enemy.’
44But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

The Jehovah Witness movement has some of these interesting controversies which are typically ignored:
Failed date predictions of Jehovah's Witnesses

Jehovah's Witnesses False Prophecies List - Doctrines of Faith

Yet, besides these, you claimed that you have utter confidence in these beliefs (were you raised in this group)?

You never witnessed Jesus, the ministry of Jesus, the person of Jesus, the death of Jesus, the resurrection of Jesus, but simply have what amounts to blind faith in the claims of people who wrote it here and there, or spoke it among themselves, when many of them also had not ever seen any of these things apparently either, and there is no way for you to know for certain that they did.

So everything rests not on logic or reason, not even on your witnessing such or experience, but on conjecture.

Furthermore, you are asking, most likely, that others follow in such speculation and conjecture and believing and stating what they do not really know for certain and not verify, which you would hate or resist most likely if someone came up to you and tried to convince you of some strange thing they had not seen and you had not seen which also seems to not make much sense either.

You may even be risking your very soul, by stating, if you state this like the Christians do, that Jesus is the literal Begotten Son of God somehow, who walked the Earth as a man (which you don't even know, you don't even know if he floated just a nearly imperceptible bit above the surface of the Earth, and you would surely think someone suggesting that is ridiculous, yet expect us and others not to consider you and your claims and your faction's claims (and failures) ridiculous?)

Furthermore, you might not deny you have sinned, but you don't take the advice of Jesus literally, where you were told to gouge out your eye or cut off your hand or foot (don't do it, no one should), and beyond that, you also can not pass the other terrible test, of ingesting poison and miraculously being unharmed by it (and don't do this either, its a hideous thing to say to people which has more than likely killed those people which Jesus may ask "Are you so dull?" to in the New Testament).

So your whole idea seems to rest on nothing, and you can't even oppose me or what I'm saying or doing really, because you have to turn the other cheek, you can't even call me a fool for questioning what you believe in and why you believe in such, or else you risk hell supposedly according to the Scriptures.

It appears, everything you believe in just up to how you magically feel about it, and here is what the the New Testament says about the Deceptions of the "Heart" or following your mere feelings, desires, and wishes without any real verification, logic, reason, or proof:

Mark 7:21-
For it is from within, out of a person's heart, that evil thoughts come--sexual immorality, theft, murder,
adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly.

So how would you know that your heart might be safe to trust, since that seems to be all you're using to justify your beliefs that you neither saw or know for certain or could ever know because they can not be known, they appear illogical, and so can't even be demonstrated through clear reasoning?

Isaiah 59:13
rebelling and denying the LORD, turning away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering lies from the heart.

Matthew 6:23
But if your vision is poor, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

Jeremiah 7:24
24Yet they did not listen or incline their ear, but they followed the stubborn inclinations of their own evil hearts. They went backward and not forward.

Jeremiah 17:9
The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?

Jeremiah 8:8
“How can you say, ‘We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us’? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie.

So you can't trust your heart, your can't trust even the scribes who copied or wrote down the scriptures, and you can't trust even the statements of people called Prophets:
1 Kings 22:23 and 2 Chronicles 18:22
“So you see, the LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouths of all your prophets. For the LORD has pronounced your doom.”

So, all you're running on is what? Blind Faith is it? Desire that you wish to be truth? Hope you have no doubt in, for no explicable reasoning other than that you may be entirely deceived?

Is it something like this:
Evil demon - Wikipedia

or like this:
2 Corinthians 4:4 (partial)
In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds

If the "god of this world" can do such a thing, how do you know when you are and when you aren't deceived or blinded? Certainly you are insisting that you believe in things you can't see, isn't that what Blind people are forced to do as well?

Impossible really, or that's how I feel. I would normally partake in these discussions for funzies, but humor is lost on many these days. :D
Aw! That is funny though too sometimes, when people miss the joke, even when you have to explain the joke, often I find that makes things even more awkward and funny!

Well, I hope you might decide to go ahead and take the risk, maybe you'll break some rules and the Moderators (suckahs!) might not notice!

Great job writing all that and entering the fray! So far, you're the only one who has done so! Congratulations and I find it very noble, for indeed, if one has the right way, how cruel is it not to share it, and furthermore, how poor a soldier is one who doesn't even stand up for what they think is right and best? God, in my belief, rewards those who are sincere and standing for the truth, and who are diligent in making it clear, through all rigors, why it is so, why it is best, and to do so, and to share such, is really to spread Love:

Hebrews 12:7
Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?

Deuteronomy 8:5
So know in your heart that just as a man disciplines his son, so the LORD your God disciplines you.

Proverbs 3:12
for the LORD disciplines the one He loves, as a father the son in whom he delights.

Proverbs 19:18
Discipline your son, for in that there is hope; do not be party to his death.

Proverbs 22:15
Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far from him.

Proverbs 23:13
Do not withhold discipline from a child; although you strike him with a rod, he will not die.

Proverbs 23:14
Strike him with a rod, and you will deliver his soul from Sheol.

Proverbs 29:15
A rod of correction imparts wisdom, but a child left to himself disgraces his mother.

Proverbs 29:17
Discipline your son, and he will give you rest; he will bring delight to your soul.

Proverbs 13:24
Whoever spares the rod hates their children, but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them.

Partial quote of Exodus 17:9
"Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with God's rod in my hand."

What are your beliefs? Are you an Atheist or a Theist for starters? Do you subscribe to any particular religion mostly or mainly?

Nadda, none, zilch. Yet, I am not an atheist. :D

It's just what I feel is 'god' is not personal nor necessarily conscious. Just a giant cosmological bacteria that cut itself a million ways to make everything. What belief system is that? I have no idea. :D

As far as slander goes, the Bible itself contains slander in its polemics and as far as I know, there is no scientific studies demonstrating that JWs are less likely to commit crimes than the general population, so to say they are more moral is in itself possibly slander.
