Everyone will continue to hold 'The Answer', but nothing will be done about it.

Stuff will cost too much.

People will complain.

Good stuff will happen too, but people won't notice it because they're too busy focusing on the yucky stuff.

Actually I'm hoping for a political leader to emerge that can actually unify the two major parties.
Otherwise I suspect we will head towards some kind of civil war in the US. At which point the US will no longer be a major player in world politics/economics.

In the next 6 years, if we don't find a way to straighten ourselves out, it's going to be tough living in the USA.
