Rev 13:2 The Beast from the Sea that rises for 42 months

2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.(Rev 13:2) KJV)

Although these three animals recall the beasts in Daniel 7, Grecian, Medo-Persian and Babylonian kingdoms, John reverses the order. Moreover, this Beast is like a treacherous leopard lying in wait to pounce upon its prey (Jer. 5:6; Hos. 13:7), only its mouth is like a lion and feet like a bear. These critical differences imply this is very different and we should not follow Daniel's lead and only apply animal characteristics to this Beast, its mouth and its feet.

I believe its predictive, the end time Beast from the Sea will incorporate all the nations the ancient Grecian, Medo-Persia and Babylonian empires once possessed.

The Assyrian (Babylonian exile of the tribe of Dan) Jewish-Christian Judas Son of Perdition is the mouth (Rev. 13:5) who speaks in parody of the Lion of Judah, Christ. The European-American betrayal of Israel is already well under way, even if President Obama's agreement to strengthen Iran with billions in funds, legalize their production of nuclear material and promise to defend it even against Israeli attack, falls through.

Its clear Europe is well on the way to a total political realignment.

Germany is transforming itself by relocating hundreds of thousands (perhaps millions) of anti-Israeli migrants from the Middle East, which will completely change their traditional political landscape. The rest of Europe is well along the way doing the same thing, forced into it by the infanticide of abortion slaughtering their own children losing the ability to replenish their aging populations.

The anti-Israeli fix is in. Everything the Republican congress did to facilitate President Obama's agenda, while pretending to oppose it with faux votes and speeches, confirms there is no stopping the Satanic agenda now gaining steam.

Iran will be the powerful blood thirsty legs of the Antichrist Beast in the final end time Federation of nations against God. Via the United Nations, other races hitherto barely mentioned in scripture will join the coalition of the dammed to fight against Christ Himself at Armageddon.

Forty-Two months

Both kingdom and king are called "Beast" which is confusing because we think of these as two separate entities. However, in Daniel we learn Biblical symbolism sees them as one Beast:

17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. (Dan 7:17 KJV)

23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom (Dan 7:23 KJV)

When the angel called the fourth beast a fourth kingdom it requires the three before were also kingdoms. Therefore, each beast is a kingdom with its king.

John does the same. The Kingdom/Beast may exist in some form before a mouth is given to it, but only when it has its "mouth/King" speaking great words who does so for 42 months, does it have a blasphemous name written on its heads, his claim to be above God. That requires the Kingdom he changed into a blasphemous Beast began then, and exists for 42 months.

5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. (Rev 13:5 KJV)

Looked at from another perspective:

The seven heads make up this kingdom, but the ten horns are kings who rule with the "little horn" one hour:

2 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. (Rev 17:12 KJV)

While it is said three of the horns are plucked up, still the image of the Beast has Ten horns, not seven:

I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things. (Dan 7:8 KJV)

This implies plucking up didn't destroy the horns, it only subdued them. And as this occurred at the beginning of the King/Beast's ascent to power, and he is in power 42 months, "one hour" idiomatically equals forty two months or for the life of the Kingdom he turns into a blasphemous Kingdom/Beast.

3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.(Rev 13:3-6 KJV)


The wounded head is not the beast: If it is the head that is wounded, but it is the Beast that is healed, are these two one Head/Beast? No, because that is equivalent to having the six heads on the wounded head, contrary to the text. So they cannot be the same person or thing.


This does not depict a miraculous resurrection: The head remains wounded and only the Beast healed, therefore this does not depict anything analogous to a resurrection because the wounded remains unhealed.


But the text implies the wounding is relevant to the healing, there must be a connection. Also something similar to a wounding and healing occurs in a different beast, that also causes the world to marvel:


8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

John gave us an interpretation that fits this description perfectly, "one is" Daniel's fourth kingdom, the ten-horn version of Rome during the reign of a little horn that fights God at Armageddon (Dan. 7:7-14). Of the seven heads, five had fallen before John's day: Ancient Babylonia, Assyria, New Babylonia, Medo-Persia and Greco-Macedonian. "One is" Rome, which dies and is revived within the ten horns. The Seventh, Great Britain which via the British Palestine Mandate from 1922-1948 remained but a short while in control of Israel1301. The Eighth is of the Seven, the League of Nations that was not during WWII, but rose from the abyss as the United Nations and becomes the New World Order headed by the Assyrian Jewish Christian (Adonikam=666) "little horn". Because the United Nations is a landless political construct, it goes off into destruction vanishing completely at the return of Christ, while some actual kingdoms are permitted to continue for a time during Judgment (Dan 7:11-14)1302.


The revival of an old kingdom hardly causes "astonishment", the revival of Israel certainly did not. Nor did Christ's resurrection cause the world to marvel, rather the nations familiar sought to silence all preaching about it.


Therefore, for this healing to be astonishing to the entire world, it can be neither mundane nor unbelievable to unbelievers in the world.


The answer to this riddle must lie in who does the reviving, and how accomplished. As the context only hints at the first (Rev. 13:4), for the second we must consider the greater context for what is connected to it.


The rest is a rough draft I will finish later:


The time is mid-week, at the beginning of the 42 months the Big "mouth" will rage. What saith the scripture occurs near that time? In Rev. 9:1-10 a star free falls from heaven symbolizing the heavenly restraint was taken out of the way, and demon locusts infest the air men breath, tormenting and terrorizing them for 5 months. Their mission is to convert those not having the seal of God, to remain loyal to the False Christ as he declares himself God in the church, the temple of God. After 5 months, Christendom including all on earth following other religions, are converted to the Beast who puts himself above all called God or worshiped. The world now seeks revenge against their former religious masters, burning the Harlot with fire (Rev. 18:6-8). She thought drinking in the flood of spiritism (Rev. 12:15-16; Mat. 7:21-22) was getting close to the LORD, but she only became a dwelling place of demons and every unclean and unholy spirit. They did not save her, the Beast deemed her obsolete, in the way (Rev. 18:1-3).


In addition to these, the four angels at the Euphrates will be loosed, and the Nephilim will go forth disguised as UFO Aliens, and slay all who oppose the Dragon, the False Prophet and the Beast (Rev. 9:13-21) and then gather the surviving newly converted to unite with the little horn at Armageddon. This entire construct will be marvelous to the world, to all whose names were not found in the Lamb's book of life written before the foundation of the world.
