Repent, the kingdom of heaven is at hand, means what?

Repent, the kingdom of heaven is at hand, means what?

The kingdom of God/heaven, is built on a “tested stone”, with “righteousness” and “justice” the tools used in construction (Isaiah 28:16-17). What God asks for is “justice” and “righteousness”. (Psalms 89:14). The “tested stone” would reside in the “temple of the tabernacle of testimony in heaven” (Revelation 15:5) & (Revelation 11:19) Righteousness is based on what is written on the stone within that ark. Justice is summarized as you do unto others, so shall be done to you.

The current religion of the “dragon” (Revelation 13 & 17) has a doctrine not based on justice and righteousness, but on the “unmerited grace of God”, or what is better known as the false gospel of grace, and it assures it’s minions, that they shall surely not die (Genesis 3:4). Their guide is their own perverse hearts.

To repent, is to turn away from the false gods of men and their own perverse hearts, and return to the righteousness of God. Right now the “nations are enraged” (Revelation 11:19), and the “wrath came” and “saints” to “destroy those who destroy the earth” (Revelation 11:18), is at hand.

New American Standard Bible Proverbs 11:20
The perverse in heart are an abomination to the LORD, But the blameless in their walk are His delight.

New American Standard Bible Psalms 89:14
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Loving kindness and truth go before You.

New American Standard Bible Revelation 11:9
And the temple of God which is in heaven was opened; and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple, and there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder and an earthquake and a great hailstorm.

  • So lets start with taking the whole of Isaiah 28 (Yeshayah - Saved by the Lord) into context:
  • Isaiah 28:9 to Isaiah 28:19 from Rumor to Rumor (Ezekiel 7:26).
  • Which are the Bed posts referenced in Isaiah 28:20-21.
  • Thus making a Bed of Adultery (Revelation 2:22).
Like if you include the sheets on the bed (Isaiah 28:15 |--><>--| Isaiah 28:18), and not just some prize in the middle; then it becomes clearer, that their covenant with death is disannulled, before it was ever thought about.

Isaiah 53:1 starts with 'who would have believed the Rumor'.

In my opinion. :innocent:

Means what it says.
If we stop looking outside of ourselves for answers and turn inward for knowledge of self, then we shall find that the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

And what is it you should repent of? And as man is known to have a perverse mind and heart (Jeremiah 17:9), how is it that your “knowledge of self” is the answer. If you are already righteous, well then you need not repent, but then the gospel would not be for you, but for sinners. (Luke 5:32)

You might want to start with a new bible, If you click your own text with the embedded bible quote, you will find a better version than whatever source you are using. As for your Isaiah quotes, no one “believed our report” or “understand doctrine”. As for Ezekiel 7, it is about Israel, who will be “scattered among the countries/nations” (Ez 6:8), which is past tense, but the gathering of Israel from the nations is future (Ez 36:24) & (Ez 37:15-17).

The bed reference of Isaiah 18, is with respect to the “overwhelming scourge”, which is “sheer terror”, which will be in store for those relying on their “covenant with death”, which shall be “cancelled”. (Isaiah 28:18). Isaiah 28 is not about being “saved by the Lord”, but about those who think they will escape death, as in being “saved”, and find out that “righteousness” and “justice” will “sweep away” their “refuge of lies” (Isaiah 28:17). As for Rev 2:22, that is about “Jezebel”, with respect to the church of Thyatira, which is faced in the future with being broken by a “rod of iron”, for her idolatry as well as adultery. You seem to be losing grip on reality .

Isaiah 28:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

Isaiah 1: 53 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

Ezekiel 9:23‘Make the chain, for the land is full of bloody crimes and the city is full of violence. 24‘Therefore, I will bring the worst of the nations, and they will possess their houses. I will also make the pride of the strong ones cease, and their holy places will be profaned. 25‘When anguish comes, they will seek peace, but there will be none. 26‘Disaster will come upon disaster and rumor will be added to rumor; then they will seek a vision from a prophet, but the law will be lost from the priest and counsel from the elders. 27‘The king will mourn, the prince will be clothed with horror, and the hands of the people of the land will tremble. According to their conduct I will deal with them, and by their judgments I will judge them. And they will know that I am the LORD.’”

It means that within the time of whoever reads this verse the end times will start taking place, so you better get your **** together. Of course, since the verse was first written, some 1,950 years ago, the onset of the end times has been delayed over, and over, and over, and . . . . again. Seems god has trouble getting the sucker into first gear. Personally, considering that after almost 2,000 years it hasn't happened yet it's highly unlikely that it will happen in anyone's particular lifetime. I wouldn't be concerned. Repent at your leisure.

And what spirit and truth would that be? Sinners are of the spirit of the devil (1 John 3:8). As for the Truth, that would be with reference to the testimony of Yeshua , who was the "Word" from the "beginning" John 1:1, which was the Word of God, the Law and the prophets, who was made flesh John 1:14 & Matthew 5:17. Now I would surmise your "new truth", would be the "old" is made "obsolete", and you have nailed the "Word" to the cross, and instigated the new word of the false prophet Paul in its stead. Please correct me if I have made the wrong assumption.

According to Hosea 6:2, the repenting for Judah and Israel (Hosea 5), begins after 2 days/2000 years. According to Jeremiah 30:11, that will be the time when Jacob (Israel & Judah) have been "chastised justly", and the " nations" "I will destroy completely" (Jeremiah 30:11).

This may be a convenient interpretation for some fundie Sunday school class, but the fact is, the phrase "After two days" is an English rendering of

יוֹם yôwm, yome;

"from an unused root meaning to be hot; a day (as the warm hours), whether literal (from sunrise to sunset, or from one sunset to the next), or figurative (a space of time defined by an associated term), (often used adverb):—age, always, chronicals, continually(-ance), daily, ((birth-), each, to) day, (now a, two) days (agone), elder, × end, evening, (for) ever(-lasting, -more), × full, life, as (so) long as (... live), (even) now, old, outlived, perpetually, presently, remaineth, × required, season, × since, space, then, (process of) time, as at other times, in trouble, weather, (as) when, (a, the, within a) while (that), × whole ( age), (full) year(-ly), younger."

Here is how The KJV translates Strong's H3117 [yowm]:
day (2,008x), time (64x), chronicles (with H1697) (37x), daily (44x), ever (18x), year (14x), continually (10x), when (10x), as (10x), while (8x), full (8x), always (4x), whole (4x), alway (4x), miscellaneous (44x).

In E- Sword got a HOT+, KJV+, Greek ABP+ & WEB version for posting, as it is tidy English.

On the site it is handy as they have the built in Bible we can all use, which is fine to start for people.

Sorry that isn't a responsible response...

The logical question of there being a Chiastic Structured 'Bed' of 'Adultery' in Hebrew stated in Isaiah 28:20-21, and then that interlinking with a 'Bed of Adultery' in Revelation 2:22 is quite a high probability.

In my opinion.

Um, what language is this?
In E- Sword Bible software got a Hebrew Old Testament+, King James Version+, Greek Apostolic Bible Polyglot+ & World English Bible version for posting, as it is tidier English.

The + means that the different Bible languages have the Strongs reference numbers next to each word, so we can look up everything in dictionaries, concordance, etc.

Plus that way slowly picking up Greek, and Hebrew along the way.

In my understanding. :innocent:

Or according to Psalms 90:4 and 2 Peter 3:8, 2000 years. The fact that Judah has been under judgment (Hosea 5:11) for 2000 years didn't seem to strike a nerve.

24“God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

And the devil has a "demon spirit" as well. (Revelation 16:13-14). And those who worship the devil, worship in their version of truth, which is called the "big lie". What the "many" call truth, according to Matthew 7:13, is a lie which leads the "many" to "destruction". You are going to have to be more specific.

Psalm 90:4
4 For a thousand years in Thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
From which I assume then that when it's said in Mat 26:2 that

"Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.
Tools."

the feast won't get underway for two thousand years.

2 Peter 3:8
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing: that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
So why don't you pick the later assertion, "a thousand years as one day," which makes your claimed two thousand years, only two days? No need to answer. ;)
