So, lies, basically. It's about telling lies to serve a political agenda. This is what the "right" has become, now. They can't win elections based on values, anymore, because they don't have any. And they can't win elections based on their intent to serve the people, because they clearly only serve the wealthy elites that pay them, or their own self-centered bigotry, depending on which economic class they're in. And they can't win elections based on their track record of tax cuts for the rich and dismantling the rule of law. So it's come down to telling as many lies as possible and hoping to fool as many people as possible into voting their way.

It's what the left has been doing all along and while I find it unfortunate that a few bad apples on the right may be adopting the left's disingenuous and outright fraudulent tactics it seems that it's more of a leveling strategy. There is little doubt these few bad apples on the right have a crisis of conscience when adopting the left's tactics since it goes against their nature as moral individuals but when taking in the full political climate they may feel a little forced into that murky world of lies and innuendos.
