Religions outside the Christian Church

I would remind you that the Isrealites were in captivity to the Egyptians. This history is part of Christianity. Therefore, Christianity is rooted before either one of these religions came about.

The Bible says that "the Isrealites were in captivity to the Egyptians", but there is no archaeological proof nor any conclusive references in contemporary documents to prove the captivity (or the Exodus).

My theory, very flattering to the Israelites compared to the Bible's story of how they entered Palestine, is, that they were nomad bedouins who entered gradually peacefully in the north-east of Palestine and became farmers.
