reincarnation and animal souls

Antiochian

Rationalist
I would say a definite no to reincarnation, although some early Christians seemed to believe in it--Origen, for instance.

Whether some individual Christians believe in it is a different story.

I don't know if there are any Christian sects that believe that an animals have souls, but there are two Christians sects that I know of that believe that human beings reincarnate. One of those sects is called The Liberal Catholic Church. It has beliefs that are influenced by Theosophy, which is an occult religion that was founded in the 19th century. The other sect is called the Unity Church, whose beliefs are influenced by the New Thought Movement of the 19th century.
