Reformed Catholic Church

Just some FYI on this new break-away sect:

The leaders of the Reformed Catholic Church, however, say their new church represents a fusion of the best of Anglican and Roman Catholic traditions. And though they adamantly deny receiving financing from Mr. Chávez’s government and insist that their church has no political affiliation, they do profess solidarity with Mr. Chávez, who has repeatedly clashed with the Roman Catholic hierarchy since rising to power a decade ago.

Interesting stuff... not sure if they are all tied together.

A truly reformed Catholic Church would be one that repented of its sins and made peace with the Devil. ;)

But it's crazy now that all these Catholic sub-sects claiming different successions are popping up everywhere, isn't it?

You've got the Gnostic Catholic Church, the Reform ones, the MaryIsGod lot...all splinter factions of a faith in somewhat of a decline.

Still, thanks for the OP links, interesting stuff. :)

It started first with the "Circumsizers" and continued through all of history.... and all the sub-sub-groups of the Reformers and the schismatics of the RCC make keeping up almost impossible.

They're not. The church in the article and the churches whose websites those are, are three different churches.

Yes, and it is also God-made, since Jesus Christ was both 100% man and 100% God.

Yep and this is unlike the Protestant churches which are exclusively man made. They can't be God made as well because God did not found more than one Church. He only founded the Catholic Church. :)
