I like that in the Psalms you can give your pre reflective, unvarnished thoughts to God and come to Him even when they don't take allot of sense. The God might shed light on the issue and set you straight. Not sure an atheists would like that or not.
I take the Psalms as the song of the blessed man, Jesus from beginning to end. They all paint of picture of the Messiah. They also teach how a believer might think and feel. Not sure an atheist would like that either.
