After watching the video I'd be interested in any comments. I personally find it quite interesting how people like to depict Jesus based on their own race.

I always imagined he'd blend in with Middle Easterners of the time.

I think since we really don't know what Jesus looked like, that people are going to paint Him and draw Him to look like them. However, Jesus would have looked like a middle Easterner.

This is the most probable depiction of Jesus - created by forensic anthropologists.
I think churches would teach Jesus looking like this - if we're aiming for truth, & less prejudice.
Of course, we shouldn't have "graven images" for worship anyway.
But the damage has already been done, at least in the Mormon church... pictures of Jesus are white, in support of the Book of Mormon scripture that equates righteousness with fairness of skin. So, it'd be nice to set the record straight.
