Quick question about the spirit and soul sleep

In ecclesiastes 12:7 it says you die and your spirit returns to God.
And in james 2:26 it says if the spirit would leave the body you would die right away.
And in 2 Corinthians 12 :1-10 it says out of body experiences might be real.
So how can out of body experiences be real if you read psalms 146:4?

Out of body experiences are altered consciousness. The body and spirit are still alive. The verse is talking about death not an altered state of mind and seperation of body and spirit.

Probably not a good idea to pick some quotes out of the Bible and string them together to have a meaning. The context of these passages are important to their understanding, IMHO.
