Question to hindus: Who is Krishna for you?

The hindues who call themself "Hare Krishna" believes Krishna is the One God of the universe.

On a webside about Hare Krishna it is written:

    - Krishna is eternal, all-knowing, omnipresent, all-powerful, and all-attractive. He is the seed-giving father of all living beings, and He is the sustaining energy of the entire cosmic creation. He is the same God as The Father Allah, Buddha and Jehova

    - We are not our bodies but eternal, spirit souls, parts and parcels of God (Krishna). As such, we are all brothers, and Krishna is ultimately our common father. We accept the process of transmigration of the soul (reincarnation).

So what do you believe about Krishna? If you believe in him?

I am not a Hare Krishna, so who he is will differ for me, but simply speaking...

He is my trusted friend. He is the one who listens to me without judgement. He is the one who kicks me in the butt when I need it and no one else will. He is the one who plays a joke on me when I am being too serious and need to lighten up.

I believe he is a form of Vishnu, one divine manifestation of many, and one of which I'm terribly fond of.

Other than that, I don't worry about it much.

For me Krishna is God Himself, in personal form. What @JustGeorge said about Lord Krishna's personal form is what I also believe. He is very tolerant and compassionate, karuna sagara (the ocean of compassion) who probably very often rolls His eyes and shakes His head at me. :D

    ete cāṁśa-kalāḥ puṁsaḥ
    kṛṣṇas tu bhagavān svayam
    indrāri-vyākulaṁ lokaṁ
    mṛḍayanti yuge yuge

“All of the above-mentioned incarnations are either plenary portions or portions of the plenary portions of the Lord, but Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa is but God Himself (lit. translation). All of them appear on planets whenever there is a disturbance created by the non-believers. The Lord incarnates to protect the devotees.” Srimad Bhagavatam (Bhagavata Purana) 1.3.28

Even though I am a Shaivite and see Shiva as supreme, I also believe that Vishnu and Shiva are the same. So, Krishna to me is just a form of Shiva. If that makes sense.

    Yes, it makes sense.

This is my take as well, although in practice I feel more comfortable in front of a Lingam or Nataraja. That's partly familiarity, but also that one might as well take it (blessings, darshan) directly, clearly.

Krishna, to me, is one of the avatars of Vishnu and simply another form that the Mother of the Universe takes. So for me, Vishnu/Krishna, Shiva, and Devi are one.

I remember reading somewhere----I will have to look it up----that the 10 Mahavidyas also match up with the Dasavatars of Sri Vishnu. Krishna is seen as the avatar of Maa Kali, with Shiva being Radha. The story goes that Shiva disguised himself as a gopi in order to be close to her.

Edit! Here is a picture of a composite mask of Kali and Krishna:

    I suspect that Krishna is Jesus...is Jehovah...is Allah...is whoever is keeping the Hindu gods in order...is Satan...is Peace...is World...is Satisfaction...is Beauty...if Life...is Earth...is Truth.

So, please, interfaith. I think I can post here. I am sorry if I can't. I have faith. You have faith (I can't imagine that anyone has none). I am sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you.
