Quakers and Catholics

Not really. The Quaker's method of "waiting on God" took on the term 'quietism' in theological circles. This particular method actually pre-dates Quakerism, and was taught by some Catholic mystics (Meister Eckhart comes to mind). I believe it was at the council of Vatican I that the Catholic church officially condemned quietism.

Depends on what quaker belief you retain.

We Catholics do believe in the Just War doctrine, which is something that may conflict heavily on Quaker beliefs.

I live in Pennsylvania, home to plenty of Quakers, but know nothing more then the extreme pacifism and the fact that Quakers are some of the most cheerful, peaceful and charitable people around.
