QAnon supporter denounced for racism wins Georgia Republican primary

In a series of videos unearthed just after Greene placed first in the initial 9 June Republican primary, she complains of an “Islamic invasion” into government offices, claims Black and Hispanic men are held back by “gangs and dealing drugs”, and pushes an antisemitic conspiracy theory that the billionaire philanthropist George Soros, who is Jewish, collaborated with the Nazis.

I don't know if George Soros agreed with the Nazi. He was 14 when his father gave him to a Nazi who confiscated property from the Jews to protect him. And George did not speak up for his fellow Jews, and watched as their properties were confiscated and the people were shipped off to concentration camps to be murdered. That is not a conspiracy theory. George Soros admits as much.

ETA:
I should add that at the end of this clip here Soros said that it didn't bother him in the least watching his fellow Jews getting their properties stripped from them and shipped off (to the death camps).

He said he guesses that he didn't understand it at his age. That might be true. I know of several 14-year-old Jehovah's Witnesses who were willing to face death in the Nazi concentration camps rather than turn their backs upon Jehovah God.

It could just be that Witness children are more mature at that age.

It's incredibly unlikely and very doubtful any of us would have acted any different. The fear, the stress, the survival instinct, if whats claimed is true it just means hes human and did what most humans would do in that situation. Cooperate or die tends to work well for motivating compliance. Do it in a state of confusion and fear, and were only human.

In any event someone shouldn't be judged for what they did so long ago, and especially as a child.

I even know of Nazi who persecuted and helped put to death Jehovah's Witnesses in the death camps who later became Jehovah's Witnesses.

Jehovah's Witnesses were the only religious organization that were persecuted by the Nazi and were able to get out whenever they wanted by just signing a declaration turning their back on Jehovah God. Very few did. They acted as true Christians. Even the Jews spoke up of the kindness and the boldness of the Witnesses. Jehovah's Witnesses did not just speak up for themselves, they spoke up for the Jews even when it meant their own freedom and sometimes their own lives. So they behaved very differently.

Concerning one of the publications Jehovah's Witnesses published in 1938 about the concentration camps (NOTE: this was before WWII even started...Jehovah's Witnesses were exposing the camps to the world):

Nobel prize winner Dr. Thomas Mann wrote: “I have read your book and its terrible documentation with deepest emotion. I cannot describe the mixed feeling of abhorrence and loathing which has filled my heart while perusing these records of human degradation and abominable cruelty. . . . To keep quiet would serve only the moral indifference of the world . . . You have done your duty in publishing this book and bringing these facts to light.”

What Soros says is that "maybe as a child you don't see the connection". He was 14 at the time.

This was in connection with Jews being stripped of their property, only. There is nothing to suggest he was aware of anything about people "being shipped off to the death camps", as you suggest. Those are words spoken by the narrator, before the Soros clip. Soros even talks about "a very personal experience of evil". There is no evidence, in this very brief clip of Soros, that he "agreed with the Nazis", as you seem to want, preposterously and rather disgustingly, to insinuate.

It seems to me Soros is being very frank about his childhood experiences and this obnoxious, swaggering, fat interviewer is misrepresenting the interview to spin lies about him.

You do not provide a source for this video clip. Who made it?

That was from 60 minutes. I apologize if I made it seem like Soros agreed with what was going on. I started out stating "I don't know." Knowing what was going on and having relatives and spiritual family that went through the Holocaust I can tell you he knew what was happening. His father knew what was going on and that is why he paid the government official and let Soros leave his family.

There are further interviews with Soros I can't find right now that goes into other things he reveals this isn't all of it. Soros said he became what he was at that time at 14. He knew to keep quiet, he knew exactly what was going on. There are reports that he did more than just stand by passively watching his fellow Jews get stripped of their possessions and sent to death camps. Soros did what he had to do to save his own skin.

What was the source of that video you posted?

YouTube. I just typed in Soros Nazi informant and this was the first video YouTube showed. It wasn't the exact thing I was looking for but it was the interview I recalled with him talking about what he did with the Nazi against the Jews. I am not blaming him for it. I think it is wrong to judge someone for something they did so long ago, especially when he was a kid, and all of the pressures. I even stated that above as well. I was just posting the video to give understanding to why people say that Soros helped the Nazi. Again there is more to it than just this. It is not a conspiracy theory. Are there lies about it and have people probably blown it out of proportion? I am sure some have. But we can at least stick to what he himself admits to here.

Again I wouldn't want to be held accountable to something I did when I was a kid, and I certainly would not hold someone else accountable. I am no judge anyway. I don't judge Soros for what he did. I in fact feel quite a lot of pity for what he went through. I think his mind got screwed up real bad even if he doesn't want to admit it, like he tried not to at the end of that clip. It certainly showed the type of person he was. And it was probably that "save your own skin" attitude that helped him amass his fortunes while he plowed through and stomped so many others to the ground to get to where he is.

your video was not from 60 minutes, that's a lie

I was quite sure that was the 60 Miinute interview and did a search to find it. And I was not wrong. Why would you accuse me of lying? That makes no sense. Why are you lying? This is so weird. Here is the full interview I found by doing a search: Steve Croft interview with Soros:

OK, it is a snapshot of a longer interview on "60 Minutes". The full interview is here:

It does not remotely establish that Soros "helped the Nazis". All he seems to admit to in this video is witnessing, as a 14 yr old spectator, other Jews being dispossessed, while he was not.

He was not "saving his own skin". Someone was saving it for him.

This is what the Wiki article on Soros says about his experiences in the war:

QUOTE
His father Tivadar (also known as Teodoro Ŝvarc) was a lawyer[35] and a well-known Esperanto-speaker who edited the Esperanto literary magazine Literatura Mondo and raised his son to speak the language.[36] Tivadar had also been a prisoner of war during and after World War I until he escaped from Russia and rejoined his family in Budapest.[37][38] The two married in 1924. In 1936, Soros's family changed their name from the German-Jewish Schwartz to Soros, as protective camouflage in increasingly antisemitic Hungary.[39][40] Tivadar liked the new name because it is a palindrome and because of its meaning. In Hungarian, soros means "next in line," or "designated successor"; in Esperanto it means "will soar."[41][42][43]

Soros was 13 years old in March 1944 when Nazi Germany occupied Hungary.[44] The Nazis barred Jewish children from attending school, and Soros and the other schoolchildren were made to report to the Judenrat ("Jewish Council"), which had been established during the occupation. Soros later described this time to writer Michael Lewis: "The Jewish Council asked the little kids to hand out the deportation notices. I was told to go to the Jewish Council. And there I was given these small slips of paper ... I took this piece of paper to my father. He instantly recognized it. This was a list of Hungarian Jewish lawyers. He said, 'You deliver the slips of paper and tell the people that if they report they will be deported'."[45][46]

Soros did not return to that job; his family survived the war by purchasing documents to say that they were Christians. Later that year at age 14, Soros posed as the Christian godson of an official of the collaborationist Hungarian government's Ministry of Agriculture, who himself had a Jewish wife in hiding. On one occasion, rather than leave the 14-year-old alone, the official took Soros with him while completing an inventory of a Jewish family's confiscated estate. Tivadar saved not only his immediate family but also many other Hungarian Jews, and Soros later wrote that 1944 had been "the happiest [year] of his life," for it had given him the opportunity to witness his father's heroism.[47][48] In 1945, Soros survived the Siege of Budapest, in which Soviet and German forces fought house-to-house through the city.

Now, having read that, I invite you to reconsider the likely truth of these suggestions you are making.

QAnon supporter denounced for racism wins Georgia Republican primary

Trump congratulates QAnon supporter Greene on Georgia win

“Congratulations to future Republican Star Marjorie Taylor Greene on a big Congressional primary win in Georgia against a very tough and smart opponent,” Trump said on Twitter. “Marjorie is strong on everything and never gives up - a real WINNER!”

“You inspired me to run and fight to Save America and Stop Socialism!!” Greene responded to Trump’s tweet. “No one will fight harder than me!!”

Greene also is part of a growing list of candidates who have expressed support for QAnon, a conspiracy theory centered on the baseless belief that Trump is waging a secret campaign against enemies in the “deep state” and a child sex trafficking ring run by satanic pedophiles and cannibals.

Interestingly enough, the "deep state" is capitalist, and child sex trafficking rings are also for-profit enterprises which would also be the responsibility of capitalists. Socialism would stop these things, yet she wants to stop socialism.

What does any of what you posted have to do with the OP?
Yes. Thank you. Back to the OP.

This Georgia twit along with tRump and his supporters live in a fantasy world of make believe nonsense, and get upset when anyone challenges their lies and propaganda. That about sums it up.
