Having two bad choices doesn't make one rational
Biden's presidency has not been bad. Despite the inflation issues which affect the whole planet, the economy is quite good. The social issues that have crashed down on many citizens are due to conservatives, and Biden advocates for expanding freedoms, like women's reproductive access. What does Trump offer? Wo knows, he has stated numerous conflicting things.
Is Biden a bad option because of his age? If he was 20 years younger would his performance be seen in a better light? I hear how bad Biden is, but seldom any details. And never anything where Trump is better as an option.
Let's note that economies want social stability. The more instability the more business is worried, and the less they invest and spend because they are worried about having too much inventory as a liability. And of course less availability for products will result in inflation if for some reason the public demand doesn't wane, and then we know how the public reacts to inflation.
Trump's instability will reflect onto society. We can't predict who he will appoint, and how those people will enact policies. Trump's plan is to round up millions of migrants and deport them. Do you know what impact that will have on agriculture and construction?
So yeah, two bad options. But one is a bad option with a good economy (the stock market hit 40,000 this week) and another who mismanaged the pandemic and and in the last few days of his first criminal trial.
Easy decision: Biden. Let's keep this economy going, and get rights reinstated.
