Unfortunately, I don't think we have any bamboo growing around here.

That was no liberal with the sword.
The video was about the efficacy of swords when facing a gun.

I spent a few nights in much more modern
house in rural Philippines.
The small creatures that I saw included
the bat, the gecko, the rat, the amazingly
large toad, and of course, a lot of mosquitoes,
cockroaches and ants. Oh, and chickens.
Just make sure you have plenty of cans of Raid, depending on which kind of Apocalypse you're expecting:

or other structures actually made for use in
3rd world tropics dont look at all like
that fantasy thing.

Why make up something silly and impractical,
when there are real examples to go by.
Not that I am a survivalist prepper or something
