postponed idolatry of one god = islamic monotheism

Shishya

Dear Cordoba, On the face of it, it would appear that Shishya's talking about incarnation of Allah is meaningless. However, I think it is believed by many Muslims that they will see Allah on judgement day (Quran 75:23). If this is true, then it will amount to an incarnation of Allah and Shishya would have a relevant point. Please clarify.

The rules of the Hereafter are different, as there it is an eternal life

Idolatry being reserved for the afterlife in the heavens. old bearded man sitting on a throne amongst the clouds kind of a "monotheism".

One guy being responsible for everything. Does everything. Including being the cause of unbelievers unbelieving which includes polytheists worshipping their many gods/goddesses/whatever and atheists rejecting anything supernatural, yet "He" struggles so hard to make everyone to worship "Him".

So in this universe, "idolatry" is a no no. But we get to see allah's face in the hereafter.

allah has a face which is "full of honour and majesty". And he creates the heavens with his "hands". And later after its completion he "mounted upon the throne". Which is on the uppermost heaven, paradise. so allah is "most high".

So allah has a physical form on a "physical plane" of existence where he resides. From which he gives his commandments.

So to do idolatry afterwards, you shouldnt be an idolator now.

Islam is idolatry.

single idol - Idolatry rewarded as an ultimate prize later for not doing it now.

this comes as no suprise for me, since the 3 desert "monotheistic" religions originally were from a polytheistic religion where the main deity was "El".

So desert "monotheism" was an evolution that started to focus more and more upon El while giving less importance to others. And then finally one day destroying idols altogether. But worship was focused upon this "one god" without an idol along with a whole lot of fairytales and fables.

No wonder muslims have such a limited and narrow scope of theology.

Before 1400 years ago the arabs were all polytheists with hardly any remote understanding of "monotheism".

And then an arab from mecca, which is a place that was the epicentre of traders and intellectuals from all over the world at that time with full of jews and christians bustling around there as well, comes along and declares himself to be a prophet with revelations.

The quran hardly speaks about anything new theologically. Much of of what is preaches the Jewish and Hindu Sages already knew.

And the supposed scientific miracles within it are hardly anything remarkable. Much of which as well greeks, egyptians and hindus already knew a much much long time ago.

nowhere in the quran is it even stated that the earth is a sphere or revolves around the sun.

the islamic astronomers used to believe in geocentrism untill towards the end of the 13th century.

I'm not deliberately trying to offend muslims.

but honestly theres nothing really impressive about the quran. much of what it states is echoed elsewhere.

when you think about it rationally, the case for the quran being the word of God is hardly compelling.

islam believes in seven universes layer upon layer. This a belief held by the ancient pagan arabs.

muslims claim that the quran states the big bang theory. yet no explanation is given on the stage-by-stage formation of the universe.

on the otherhand we have verses that state that shooting stars are missiles that drive away "evil jinns".

A very strange post indeed

Muslims believe in One God, The Creator and Sustainer of the universe

(There is to Him no equivalent and He is the Seeing The Hearing) (42:11)

(For you is your religion, and for me is my religion) (109:6)

No time to waste ...
