When you write a post type in @ and then the username. You do not even need to type in the whole name since the system will give suggestions. Once the name is entered hit post.
Then hit the edit key and where the person's name is spelled out replace that part with your made up moniker.

Really? I may have not understood a joke, but I am pretty sure that @Revoltingest 's pronouns would be "his" in this case.

The ampersand (I had to Google it myself). No, I do believe that he used the @ or at key.

Okay, same as before, type the asperand, I did not know that and apparently neither does Google spell check, with the person's user name that you want to change.
Hit post. Hit the edit button replace the @whomever bob, with the moniker that you want without the asperand. It is optional at that point.

I like to keep the asperand for this little game to indicate that it's a member of RF, not just some random link. @The not true Scotsman did it wrong.
Whole thread is a disappointment to me. I came in here thinking it was discussing the obvious fact that posters need better monocles.
If I had better monocles, for instance, I would have seen that this thread wasn't about monocles at all, and I would have stayed away.
Although...if I HAD a better monocle, I wouldn't need to find a thread about better monocles, and so instead I might have entered this thread.
