I can just as easily say Jehovah is the devil. Why? Look at all the people he's killed - that does include a lot of children. His laws permit slavery. They demand death for many things, and would force a woman to abort her pregnancy if it's suspected the father isn't her husband. He's so petty and insecure he demands people be killed for turning away from him and worshipping other gods. He's so self centered and narcissistic that he demands us worship him. He set up humans to fail, and punishes us all for the "sins" of Adam and Eve, despite the thing about a son not paying for the sins of the father. So Jehovah is also a liar at that.

He helped free us from the tyranny of Jehovah. That is far greater than anything Jehovah has done, who punishes all save for those who grovel before him. And he's so violent, sadistic, blood thirsty and dangerous he had his own son tortured to death. He also had the gall to dare command a parent to kill his child. And make it law to kill children for being rebellious or apostates. He is so barbarous that his will was even butcher the first born of Egypt. Jehovah is so wicked not even animals are safe from his unholy tantrums.
Satan doesn't want our worship. Rather than kneel he wants us to stand with him, strong and proud, free of tyranny and oppression.

What's very interesting, according to my Old Me self I'm doing it wrong. But doing it wrong, and retaining that same understanding, I realize so much how it was wrong and really was missing the point. Mostly. Jesus did mention various things of eternal tortures and torments, but is rather vague about it all. Some could make the point there is no soul, and darkness and gnashing of teeth is regards to the totality of death itself, with a later promised resurrection. But there also references to the eternal roasting pit of Hell.
There is a lot of dogma also attached to it. If it was just the love and peace and mercy it wouldn't be bad. But there's a lot of baggage attached to that good.
