What is the Jewish view of polygyny and how has it historically been viewed? I've seen this has been referenced on the fora recently in places and I wondered how it is viewed by the different Jewish sects. I haven't really a horse in this race; I'm not really one the side of monogamy or polygyny as I can see arguments for either, I was just curious.
