Poem about impermanence

Hope you are all enjoying your time here on the forum ...

Here's a little poem I wrote a while back -

Impermanence

Laughing
Smiling
A telephone dialing
Pleasant conversation
Flashes of inspiration
A moment of peace
Some sweet release
Families eating
Thoughts are fleeting
Pleasure and pain
Some doubts remain
Lightning and thunder
Don't you just wonder?
Suddenly I'm furious!
Are you a little curious?
A moment of laughter
May be what you're after
A wild and crazy dream
Things are not as they seem
A baby crying
There's no denying
Time to sleep
Try not to weep
Trouble and strife
Such is life!

Enjoy your day!

I could write a poem by just rhyming lines
Though I think that I’d regret it
For without a story to my poem
All who read it would forget it

Why waste my time writing words that rhyme?
Have I wrote for rhyming’s sake?
I’d rather write a poem this time
To cause sleeping minds to wake

A hidden message in my poem, so subtle and sublime
A secret planted there somewhere between the written lines
So find my secret if you can, it’s there for all to see
Although it’s very, very small, that’s the only clue from me.
