ok... Having seen a bunch of so called "native american spirituality" books being talked about I felt that it would be easier to put up a blanket informational posting rather than go after each one individually...

If you have a book that talks about Native American Spirituality and Wisom of the "Anchients" or whatever I urge you to check out these sites so that you don't fall prey to the numerous hoaxers that use my faith to make money....

Why is this so important?
simple... For the past hundred years or so we have fought for the right to practice our religions and keep our cultures alive.. People who sell fake virsions of our beliefs and culture are spreading lies about us, about what we believe and what we represent... they steal money from people who want to learn about us and fill thier heads full of nonsence... (or in the case of some they do eaven worse)
Its cultural/religious rape...

It has to stop...

so again I urge anyone who wants to learn the truth about Native American spirituality to check out these sites and If you really want to learn.. GO TO A POW-WOW AND TALK TO REAL PEOPLE!! if you ask nicely people are willing to share information for free... and I garentee that there will be a 'real Native run' Pow-wow somewhere in your area.
(there are eaven 'hoax' pow-wows now  so make shure to check that it is an actual Native run event. but I guess thats a rant for another time  )

Thank you for your patience...

Although I am not native american, I still know the spirits and the spirit world. Alot of the shaman books I've read are very easily seen to NOT be written about them at all. It was almost like the writers didn't know anything about spirits at all. I hope all read those sites you gave. They were very true.
