    At a glance:

The Most Effective Cure for Kundalini Psychosis

"There seem to be two important differences between kundalini awakening and psychosis. Firstly, kundalini awakening follows upon intense spiritual practice (which is not necessarily the case with psychosis). Secondly, a person in psychosis buys deeply into their altered reality, whereas a person undergoing a kundalini experience retains a clear sense of their usual state of mind, and typically expresses a desperate longing to return to it. "

Would You Recognise a Kundalini Awakening? - PESI UK

Has anyone ever experienced such a thing? Very peculiar.

That type of psychosis doesn't seem to be recognised by the DSM-5. What's it?

That is because it is not recognized in the literature as of yet. Maybe it should?

The syndrome itself is snake oil? In what ways? Based on what evidence are you saying that it is snake oil?

    Kind regards.

Or on lack of evidence, two ways to prove a thing this way or that way.

In my opinion, I don't see any difference with a run off the mill psychosis and religious delirium.

    Your mileage may vary :).

I find the Statistics of the Greyson study to warrant further investigation into the matter, but that's just my 2 ยข.

    Kind regards

I have a kundalini awakened spirit (that is currently raised) and I have been diagnosed with psychosis. Right now my psychosis symptoms are not responding to medications.
I see it as a gift though, as I can channel any entity that I want to on a whim.

I have managed to organize my thoughts through talking it out with the various disembodied consciousnesses that speak through my environment.
In essence, I order my world with philosophy through conversing with the spirits.

And the patient teacher or guru has to live, pay for gas electricity and internet connection, otherwise he/she would turn impatient. So guru must be paid.

If it is Kundalini, then it is not psychosis. Why did you need to a doctor?
Conversing with spirits is dangerous. What do we know about what they can do? Is your psychosis because of that?

My Kundalini was awakened when I was young, maybe 17 years old. It wasn't until years later that I raised it, when I was in college. Once I raised my Kundalini that is when I began seeing Astral Deities, Spirits, etc. So for me there is a very large correlation between a raised Kundalini and what the doctors call "Psychosis". I would say in fact that they go hand-in-hand.

    Phenomenal.

While spirits don't talk to me anymore, my bout with it was intense, but a fairly short lived couple of days.

I'm not advocating paying a practitioner unless one wants to, you can be your own Guru, but still seek the guidance of a teacher for lessons that can't be learned individually.

A little knowledge and practice about what to can expect and preparation makes all the difference. It doesn't require a permanent paid guide, think temporary sign pointer.

Typically because that is what Western medicine dictates, don't you think? You are feeling/hearing things that may not be real. Eat these pills.

But a Kundalini practioner should know that feeling/hearing/seeing things in Kundalini meditation is normal. Why did Whisper go to a doctor and not to his/her guru? Or he/she was on his own?

Kundalini can also arise spontaneously in some individuals, that is why I call attention to it.

My encounter was not a planned one. But I had some knowledge of Kundalini previously, so avoided the doctors until the sensations passed. But 5 days can be a long time to be experiencing things for some.

I didn't see a doctor voluntarily, I was refusing to sleep and I was disappearing for long periods of time out in nature. My family pressured me into going to the ER

My sleep was very disturbed as well. I paced back and forth, with energy coursing up and down my back like electricity. I could feel warmth pooling into each of my Chakras at differing times as the energy raised and lowered. Unfortunately, I was not skilled enough in grounding at the time and so suffered auditory and mild visual disturbances.
