Nothing my eye, Something for sure
Drama....here on RF?
I find that very very hard to believe.
Certainly, I have no ****** ************ telling me that I'm the most
******** *****, that I ************ ***** ***** ***********, & that
I should ******* on my **** ******....or stalking me with threats to
******* ****** ******** ** ***** if I don't ****** **** **********.
(There...that should comport with the rules.)

So many dramas IRL that I might relate later.
This'n was enuf for today.

Mad Libs, I love it!

All is quiet in my neck of the woods. 2 months of quarantine. I sit out next to the beach a couple hours each day. They have police patrolling the beach all day, but they don't mind it if I'm alone swimming. We all know each other and they leave us be. The wind was real rough a couple months ago so the stairs behind the house to the beach were ripped to shreds by the waves. They were just replaced last year too. That wind was so wicked thought it was going to break in all the windows.

People are crazy.

Today, the mechanic arrived to do the usual on Mr Van & Mr Plow Truck.
Then the welder arrived to work on Mr Nat (New aluminum trailer).
The welder suddenly pulled off the job. Said he won't do it.
He thought there was some conspiracy....a set up by me for something.
Turns out that the welder & mechanic knew each other, & had a dispute
going back a couple years. It also involved the welder's father, who was
also there with the mechanic.
It took some time for me to figure out what was going on. The welder's
father thought his son was acting crazy....& told him to just finish the job.
The mechanic had moved on from the dispute. He stayed, told us what
was up, & finished his work. It also seems that the welder is jealous of
his own father's friendship with the mechanic.

I guess I need a new welder. I have a couple recommendations to check.

So, fellow posters....what dramas have you encountered?

When i saw the title i though you had done a thread about me... But on further reading its just another story of the human condition.

Today was market day, the first since the lockdown began over 2 months ago. Special measures needed to be put in place to satisfy government requirements. So the mayor turned up early to set up barriers for a one way system around the stalls. One trader was there even earlier to stake his claim to the pitch he wanted. The pitch interfered with the proposed layout to get all the stalls in and meet government requirements.

As I watched the action from the balcony the argument raged with lots of arm waving and shouting. The trader was unwilling to move, the Mayor had to stick to the law.

Deciding the fun would go on for a while i went to make a coffee and returned to settle down for the duration to find the the wine merchant had turned up. He, the mayor and the first trader were enjoying a glass of monbazillac.

After their alcoholic breakfast between the 3 of them they set about shifting the traders stand and laying out the barricades as though the argument had never happend.

I am so glad that we live in a quiet, peaceful village

Turns out that the welder spend some time in prison for credit card fraud.
He had a substance abuse financing problem.
