I've listened to them but too challenging for me.

Do you mean knowing that you cannot control everything, or much of anything?
I believe in free will but I don't believe I can control much of anything

I was thinking more of people's lack of choice concerning what they find convincing or not, which also means their actions influenced by their beliefs are not "free."

It's too complicated a subject to summarize in one post, but basically, no, I don't believe anyone "controls" anything voluntarily or freely.
