It's amazing how people can ignore a history of conquering bits of other countries occurring over many years to try to make it seem like Ukraine was anything more than the latest victim of Russian aggression.

I mean, I would admit that, hypothetically, if an American "deep state" existed, and they had some kind of cold-blooded, greedy, Machiavellian view of the world where there's no line they wouldn't cross, then...I could see where they might view it as a plan which could be advantageous to U.S. interests.

Still, however much intrigue and chicanery may be taking place in the inner circles of power in this country, they seem pretty ineffectual and impotent at the moment. If the deep state can be equated with organized crime, then from all indications, this country is currently being ruled by The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight. 60 years ago, we had the "Best and the Brightest," but now, their successors have been a true disappointment.

I'm not sure that Libya would be proof of success, since it was still a debacle. Moreover, the war in Iraq didn't really get started until after Bush declared "mission accomplished," as our inability to organize and manage things well enough to prevent an uprising was quite obvious. Afghanistan was an even worse debacle at the end.

There's also domestic policy failures, which are even more telling. It seems clear that the mainstream leadership is losing hearts and minds. They're losing positive control over the masses, and the rhetoric from the media exudes a certain nervousness or worry.

They remind me of a line from Star Trek DS9: "You're like a toothless old Grishnar cat trying to frighten us with your roar." If there is any deep state at all, it might have been something 50-75 years ago, but now...just a toothless old cat. It won't last long.

Bowling averages will be way up, and miniature golf scores will be way down. And we will have more excellent water slides than any other planet we will be communicating with.

Our law enforcement surely obeys the political institutions but if the latter betray their own citizens, the law enforcement will surely side with the citizens.

Indeed she made good points. Ukrainian army burning alive people, did I see that correctly in the subtitles? That is what she said?

If true, and must be true, otherwise she would not have said it, then I would say that Ukraine did create some heavy karma.

And then the picture of the media is quite biased and indoctrination, which I see since Corona already too much, and now with this war also.

Hence I stand by my view, that both corana and the war stink and are controlled by people in high positions, otherwise journalists in the West would not be too scared to tell the truth
