'Islamabad, Pakistan – A Pakistani appeals court has acquitted a Christian man who spent about seven years in jail on the accusation of blasphemy, a charge that led to communal rioting that saw more than 120 houses in a Christian-majority area in Lahore city burned down by an enraged mob in 2013.

Sawan Masih, 40, was arrested in 2013 on blasphemy charge following an argument with a Muslim man in the eastern Pakistani city.'

The world is jailing the wrong people. It should be jailing the self-serving clergy, etc who create the blasphemy laws. Criminals against humanity every damn one of them.

I hear about screwed up justice and legal systems and rulings from all around the world, including horrible judgments and laws in the USA and Canada and other places, where criminals roam free or innocents are put in prison wasting away their few years of life over false things or meaningless things. So yeah, this seems to be just more of that garbage, and Pakistan has gone backwards as it moved away from secularism. I wonder what the Christian said anyway, and who benefitted from him being put away. The worst part are all those victims who had their homes burned or whatever, all of it is trash, and I hear almost nothing good about humanity ever from anywhere on the globe. If its not religious trash, its something else.

Ironically, this same self-serving clergy gets away with crimes as horrible as pedophilia, rape, child abuse, torture etc., which are rife in Pakistan.
