Painting in Afghanistan president's office.

Pictures of Taliban leaders in the Afghani president's office show a painting on the wall. My best guess is that it's a depiction of Mohamed blessing his fighters after the capture of Mecca. I believe the two Mountains in the background are Al Safa and Al Marwa. Is that correct?

Looks far too recent to depict that (weapons, etc). Also, somewhat unlikely the Taliban would pose in front of a painting of Muhammad :D

Likely depicts 18th C origins of Afghanistan

Thanks for that. The painting on the wall has been altered to more closely resemble Mecca (with the two mountains) in earlier times (the tent and surrounds).
