I said it before that Greta is being used as a political prop, I believe you share the same sentiment.

I don't like it when children are used as political props and mouth pieces by others behind the scenes, but I would never condone direct personal attacks against such children themselves. This vicious knee-jerk reaction toward her says a lot about the character of those who have done so.
I don't get this frothing, flailing, spastic fit against science. Are you upset that the CEOs of large, pollutant heavy corporations might have to buy yachts for their fleets less frequently due to potential regulations?

I said it before that Greta is being used as a political prop, I believe you share the same sentiment. It's nothing personal as she seems like a very sweet young lady that cares about something very passionately even though a bit naive. What I do find interesting is the Green capitalists who have been using her behind the scenes, I encourage you to read the full linked article.

There's something to that. You're not wrong.

Trump is a narcissist and needs to be in the center of attention. Over the years he learned that it's easier to get attention for doing dumb and rude stuff. He craves it. And since she got attention, and the impeachment is getting a lot of front pages, he had to somehow get everyone to look back at him, again, even if it's bully behavior.

By behaviour I am pretty sure you mean some media opinions of it.

Trump has been trying to help this poor young lady for quite a while as he is concerned for her mental and emotional well being, this is evidenced by this thoughtful and caring advice:

"Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!"

and this gracious and considerate voice of support:
"She seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future," Trump wrote. "'So nice to see!"

Of course Trumps political enemies and some in the press will and have attempted to twist his good-natured and compassionate support of Greta into something vitriolic, his warm grandfatherly like words and the meanings of them dragged through the slime pits of their souls and spit into their readers minds like an infectious venom.
