On Rebirth

What evidence can we see of rebirth that is more than anecdotal?
If it is not anecdotal, then that leaves only your own direct experience. If you don't remember, then there's no evidence. If you do remember, would that be evidence?

What different life forms did the Buddha teach that the mind can take after death?
The Thirty-one Planes of Existence

If there is no self then what is memory and why/how can it be passed on?
It's not worth dwelling on whether there is a self or not. The question might be rephrased: What specifically in this present experience do I identify as "self"? Regardless of the answer, this present experience is ever changing and impermanent. Assuming, for the sake of argument, we could freeze, so that nothing changes, we would be left with a snapshot including all the phenomena within this frozen moment of experience, each phenomenon of which has its apparent roots and causes, evident and self-contained in this present fruit of these same roots and causes. Basic perception of these roots and causes is labeled "memory." This perception continues on through the process of dependent origination: Fundamentals of Buddhism: Four Lectures.
