I shall drive along my chosen path

You shall.

Try not to get too many dents in you vehicle. I hear they're costly to fix.

Unless you're like me, and don't give a crap what your vehicle looks like.

I think that they should be arrested and carted away. I don't think allowing the average citizen to be judge, jury, and executioner is the answer. There should be a price for civil disobedience. It actually helps protesters if they have to put their money where their mouth is people will take them more seriously.

Agreed, except for "call 911," unless it's a true emergency. Misuse of the 911 system is a crime in most jurisdictions.
Where I live 911 is the police number. I have had to call at times and say that it was not an emergency. One still does not abuse the system. If someone was blocking the roadway that would be a justified call.

Sure, it's dependent upon the circumstances, and there have been times when I've had to call 911 after the emergency was over or needed to relay further information. These are legitimate uses of 911. But if someone was calling to vent about politics or to use it in lieu of protesting, then that would be different.

if I were you......I would not carry a sign in Oklahoma
I would not illegally block a road. Especially in Oklahoma where the number of people that are not that bright appears to be rather high.

I am for an effective end to this sort of abuse.

Locally, we have had a woman repetitively dial 911 over her toilet clogging.

Think she needs to talk to both the courts and perhaps a dietitian.

I thought one could carry a sign, so long as they weren't in the road?

Due to your past experiences, I can understand why you feel so strongly about people in the road. I disagree with your statements, but I understand why you hold them.
