Ohio Dem Wants to Shut Down or Restrain Ethics Panel

Marcia Fudge (D-OH) wants to greatly restrain the Ethics panel that is charged with overseeing the actions of the members of the House of Representatives.

Fudge's chief of staff (Dawn Mobley) got her hand slapped, and instead of doing what is right, Fudge goes to bat for her, by attacking the powers and scope of the Ethics Committee.

It isn't quite as bad as Tom Delay trying to redefine the word "ethics", but this is pitiful. I don't know how long before Fudge is up for re-election, but I hope that the people of the Buckeye state throw her out on her ear as soon as they get the chance.
