Obama and the Clintons supported a wall... so what changed

Actually, I do not defend Trump in all he does or says. Nor did I endorse him.
This is a most dishonest tactic we see from some in the left.
They call anyone who voted for him or doesn't attack his every
policy a "Trump supporter".
They refuse to recognize that one can support one policy of his,
yet oppose others. Or that if we debunk a false attack upon him
or a policy, that is to "support" him.

It would be a mere mistake on their part had they not
been so often informed of this. Yet they persist.
Why?
It seems to be not just the woeful tragedy of Hillary's loss, but
also a way of avoiding policy. If they faced that, they'd have to
admit favoring some of his, eg, the First Step Act. Tis as though
their only value is to hate Trump.

I know many people who voted for Trump, feeling the major candidates were all significantly flawed
Ironically on the left many Clinton and Obama supports saw nothing at all wrong with Hillary - looking through rose garden colored glasses?

I can't think of anyone I know who supports Trummp in all he does but they think he was better than the alternatives the left put on the table.

Maybe Pelosi should run against Trump and lets see how that turns out since she is the leader of the left?

If it were Hillary's wall, I'd expect Democrats to enthusiastically support it.
What a silly notion. When did Hillary ever suggest building a wall all across the Southern border?

That's as nonsensical as stating:
If Trump wanted to appoint a Liberal to the Supreme Court, I'd expect Republicans to enthusiastically support it.

Consider Democrats' support for the 2006 Secure Fence Act,
& for Obama's advocating increased border security.
If we'd reversed the candidates' stances, & Hillary were the one
calling for a "wall", the tribe would certainly support her.
The Democrats' position on border security is primarily based
upon whether a Republican is making political hay on it.
What they once wanted, they now oppose....not only better
border security, but even enforcement within our borders as
evidenced by calls to eliminate ICE, with no proposed alternative.
That's as nonsensical as stating:
If Trump wanted to appoint a Liberal to the Supreme Court, I'd expect Republicans to enthusiastically support it.
They would likely support a classical liberal.

I'll ask again...

Note the word "all".

BTW: I know you are so very proud of your post count. By my calculations, it's about 42 posts per day. There is a new kid in town since Wednesday, who is running at 68 posts per day. Now, he probably doesn't have your staying power, but I just wanted to give you a heads up.

You take the term "wall" far more literally than do I, shoe guy.
Tis merely the name Trump gave his campaign of improving border security.
Whether the label is "wall" or "Secure Fence" or other, it matters not.
She once openly advocated better security.
Call it "flip flop" or "evolution", her recent opposition to it appears to
have been naught but staking a political position against Trump.
It appears that her basic moral value is to take any position
which looks useful

Do I detect the green eyed monster?
More power to the challengers.
Let there be many more of them.

Trump promised a wall across all of the southern border. Neither Clinton nor Obama ever advocated such a thing.

I cannot understand why the sheeples are OK with Trump declaring an emergency to get funding. Why aren't they insisting he fulfill his oft-chanted promise?

FYI There are other things ecco besides shoes. I don't expect you to know.

And I lament sheeples who once supported improved security now oppose it.
Such is politics.
