have you ever found that you keep running into things that make you happy and tell you that all you need is more of them and you'll be more happy?

Only they are not faithful and stop satisfying?

    Do tell!

Even religion and God is that way for me. there was about six months not long ago where I was able to go to mass twice a day and pray like 40 decades of the rosary everyday and it satisfied. That is why people become monks or nuns most likely. Now it is hard to sit through a mass and the rosary has become painful.

Everything enjoyable seems soon eventually to turn out that way. If God was the answer, more would be putting him first in life I'm guessing.

For sure. In my case, it is video games (for the most part).

That's why you have to make happiness a habit, and not let it be dependent on anything outside of yourself.

Because let's face it, the world sucks. You're much better off being a spectator than an inhabitant.
