Confusion is from dishonest people especially the media and government. The current “voter suppression” narrative is the same thing as the illegal immigration issue. Anyone who doesn’t want ID’s for voting and verification or verification of who comes into the Country and why, in my opinion is either naive or their intention is to cheat.
It's so "telling" that you seem to have no compassion whatsoever for those whom are suffering, even including little children, who have no access to ID's. You have repeatedly made it abundantly clear that your main source of direction is almost exclusively from secular right-wing politics.

And if you can't even see and acknowledge the obvious fact that there are Pubs in many states pushing voter-suppression bills (roughly 250 of them), then that's just another example of where you sense of direction is coming from.

This anti-democratic Republican intent is clear, namely that they well know that the changing demographics and honesty will increasingly go against them nationally, thus they are trying to throw these roadblocks in to try and reduce both the non-white and youth vote. This is VERY clear.

Not a "root."
Do you not think the Banana Wars, corporate and military domination, and economic exploitation had no part in eviscerating government in the region, or that deportation of gang members from L.A. to replace government control had no part in the creation of these criminal states?

Yes, the US creates a market for drugs, but it also created the wild-West anarchy and training in organized crime that enabled the drug trade to begin with.
A Band-Aid solution won't address the underlying infrastructure and historical causes of the problem.
My reference is to the more recent root that has allowed these gangs to succeed because of the heavy influx of $ into their coffers, and the U.S. definitely has quite a bit of culpability with this since we are the #1 purchaser of their illegal drugs.

Obviously, as you say, there are numerous factors that go even way back in Latin American history that definitely complicate these matters even more.

The Democrats true intentions are division, death, lawlessness, corruption and cheating? I think you're projecting, again.[/QUOT

Come on brother, we have multiple days of voting, absentee applications, every person can get voter ID, there is so much time to get these things in order before elections. Drop boxes etc. If you can’t get it together you shouldn’t be voting. If you aren’t for voter verification and proper ID, in my opinion you just want to be able to cheat.

Your "projection" is duly noted.

When one looks at many of the proposed 250 bills, voter ID is only in a fraction of them, thus not the majority. And if the Pubs truly wanted to be fair along these lines, then they could very easily set up registration sites in areas whereas minorities live-- but haven't and they ain't. And the attempt at reducing the number of drop-boxes is VERY telling, such as what we saw in the Houston area in the last election.

People have so much time to get things in order for voting. You act like minorities are dumb and have the inability to get an ID or get to a polling station to vote at the proper time. I think people are smart enough to be able to do that. If you can’t verify and secure the voting might as well not have voting at all, which seems like what your going for

And most do, but that does not excuse what the Pubs are doing in many states. This is the reason why tens of thousands have left the party, such as the 16,000 that was announced three weeks ago in Pennsylvania whom have left.

And you are making excuses for the moral bankruptcy under even the most basic Judeo-Christian morality that they have done and continue to do, and January 6th and 20th are just two examples.

And the fact that you clearly couldn't care less about trying to help the thousands of children that clearly need help is soooooooo telling. What about "Bring the children unto me for of them is the Kingdom of God" that Jesus taught don't you understand? Either you are nearly totally clueless about what's going on or you just couldn't care less.

Most minorities do have such access, but we know there are many who don't in a given election.

So, why is it that you can't even have Pub legislators support making registration easier, especially those who may be handicapped or live in remote rural areas or have no transportation? Why is it that you are showing 0 compassion towards those who may need help?

Often I wonder what's more threatening to our democracy and our basic Judeo-Christian ethics, Trump or his chronic defenders.

I’d respond if your comments made any sense or even 01% accurate.

What are you teaching the kids? You’re a teacher correct? You bringing your students to Jesus? Bringing the Gospel? By the way, bringing kids to the US isn’t bringing kids to Jesus, US Government isn’t a friend of Jesus anymore, far from it.

I'm trying to remember the last time when we were that concerned about our own naturalized kids, aside from the worn and tired political cliché that it's for the children.

Do you believe that it is impossible to help citizens and migrants both? Why does it have to be only one or the other?

The same people who don't want to help migrant children also cut spending to childhood education, child social services, poverty aid for children and accessible Healthcare so...

I think that would be a desire to see, but there's the reality of the situation that has to be addressed first, and I've yet to hear anything on what is being done to correct the problems.

Don’t know about you but we aren’t unselfish here in our end. The US as a nation and people are very generous, our government is generous with other people’s money though. Not many people put out there own money to help though. If Democrat leadership doesn’t like a law they just change it or don’t enforce them, that is lawlessness, whether immigration, voting, congressional laws and procedures.
Yes, the Right is generous and sociable -- in tribe; and when it suits them -- but they are tribal, as well as hierarchical and competitive, and they see things as zero sum games. Some win, some lose.

It's the Left that's compassionate, coõperative and pro-social. Emancipation of slaves, civil rights, woman's rights, child labor laws, universal suffrage, forty hour week, minimum wage, Health and safety regulations, Social Security, Medicare, Workman's Comp, &al -- all the legislation that contributed to our health and prosperity were promoted by the Left and vigorously opposed by the right.

Yes, if we see unjust law we see it as moral to ignore it. The left hid runaway slaves, the Right turned them in. Civil disobedience is a moral imperative. Martin Luther King, Jr.: We have a moral responsibility to disobey unjust laws - NPI's Cascadia Advocate

Are you talking about the "problem" of people going freely wherever they want - i.e. the "problem" of freedom of movement?

Wasn't Jesus a Socialist who believed morality trumped law? Didn't he believe in feeding the poor and healing the sick? Did he not reject nationalism and preach brotherhood? Did he not warn of the perils of wealth?

The Democrats are not doing much addressing the issues. Maybe they think it will go away on its own.

Harris is in her own LA LA land to even bother.
The Democrats are at least advocating compassion and the rule of law, though you're right, they could be doing more.
That's why I reject both the Republican and Democratic parties.
