My God, I know this thread is old, but I feel really compelled to respond.

I was raised non-denominational, by the way (Plymouth Brethren, techincally). :)

Does either family or the woman or man pay a dowry?

No.

Is intermarriage between faiths allowed?

Highly discouraged, per 2 Corinthians 6:14. A woman at my old church told my cousin to break up with her boyfriend because he wasn't saved at the time (as if it's her business, but I digress).

Age allowed to marry?

Age of consent? I don't know, there's no particular age, just whenever you meet the right person.

Engagements?

If a couple so desires.

Is Pre-Martial Sex Allowed?

No.

How is Marriage defined (man and man, woman and woman, man and woman)?

Man and woman.

Is marriage required?

No, celibacy is seen as a gift from God.

Is divorce okay?

In the place I was raised, it was generally seen as a last resort, but no one would condemn you for it (in fact, my grandpa was more concerned over the fact that my dad drank when my mom started dating him rather than him having been divorced).

Questions for y'all

Does either family or the woman or man pay a dowry?

No.

Is intermarriage between faiths allowed?

Christian faiths yes - others are frowned upon in the sense that it WILL cause marital problems, so it's more of a warning not to.

Age allowed to marry?

Never specified one way or the other - what's the legal requirement of the country/state?

Engagements?

Sure, I think it's a good idea. I was.

Is Pre-Martial Sex Allowed?

Nope.

How is Marriage defined (man and man, woman and woman, man and woman)?

Man and woman.

Is marriage required?

If you want to have sex without committing a sin (adultery), yes. Otherwise nope.

Is divorce okay?

In certain situations yes, but it is a kind of 'last resort.'
