So you don't think experts in vaccine development know what they are doing? The new vaccines were not experimental in how they worked, they just had to avoid the usual and mundane trials to see if there were any unacceptable side effects. I see the things you cite above as some of the right wing hysteria. Do you even know what any of that stuff means? You're probably have no professional degrees that allow you an expert opinion, do you? But from this naysaying you will be afraid of a vaccine?

There will always be some negative reactions, it's just the way the odds work. But the risks of Covid, and the further risk of more deadly variants, means we have to bite the bullet and take the lessor of risks.

Irony. What media are you watching? What has influenced your attitude to not be a cooperative member of a nation and planet to help defeat a virus that is ruining lives and the economy? This blind individualism is what is eventually catastrophic because whether you like it or not your blind individualism is completely dependent on societies existing in a stable way. You have no sense of obligation to your nation.

When you write things like this "Acting like psychological, indoctrinated cavemen from mainstream media" you have adopted a set of beliefs that are conspiratorial, whether you are aware of it or not. Mainstream media is largely ethical and objective reporting, and trump made them a boogeyman to try and discredit their reporting, because it showed how corrupt trump is. And now you are following his lead, a corrupt liar. You may not be aware of your bias, just that it feels good to be a rebel against the norm. That is tribal thinking.

The irony is that you anti-vaxxers think you are independent, but you are far from it. You have no independent thinking, you've adopted a biased political scenario and probably have no idea why. The reasons you give above are cut and pasted. They aren't an informed and understood issue about the pandemic, the vaccines, and the big picture of how every citizens has an obligation to work together.

Because I choose not to vaccinate?

You'd have to go off more than vaccination status to know what expert advice I accept and ignore.

Without the experts, I would be dead.

And you have admitted that you refuse to ask your doctor for expert advice on vaccination.

THIS is the crux of your failure to think properly about this.

They do. It is brilliant technology, but young, and whether you like it or not they are going blind on many areas with this. Do your own due diligence and the “experts” will even tell you the drawbacks of the current mRNA technology, what they have done to overcome some of the drawbacks and also the drawbacks that still have none to very limited information or data on.

We get it by now here, anyone that questions anything, tries to think critically, tries to do some own due diligence without bias when it comes to the positives and negatives of the new mRNA technology, tries to talk to nurses and doctors they know, are not sure yet about taking it: they are all considered moronic, irresponsible, hysterical right wingers, conspiracy theorists, anti-vaxers, etc.

The blindness is acting as if a vaccine is the only means to do this, and anyone not vaccinated is entirely useless and scum to society.

It is good that a few sources are reporting the heart problems in many teenagers occurring after taking the vaccine. You won’t see the healthy teenage boy who died a day later after his first dose of the vaccine that I coached on my soccer team anywhere on mainstream media, along with any others who are screwed up. Certainly, there is no bias or agenda when it comes to the highest profitable vaccine in the industry.

It isn’t good that they aren’t disclosing how they are labeling someone “unvaccinated” when entering a hospital. My own due diligence were as follows from asking the individuals that I know of in the medical profession: “some have said they aren’t allowed to disclose that information, some have said that if you are vaccinated, but it hasn’t been 14 days: they are listed as unvaccinated. Anyone under 12 are listed as unvaccinated. Anyone who has been vaccinated but 90 days have passed are being listed as unvaccinated for precautionary reasons due to being unsure the waning period of the vaccine currently.

So, sure they can get away with saying things like “the unvaccinated” are flooding the hospitals when a 10 yr child breaks his leg and is registered as “unvaccinated” or an elderly person is experiencing side effects after receiving a vaccine 13 days later and is listed as “unvaccinated.”

I don't ask because I'm not taking the vaccine.

    Why should I ask?

That would be wasting the doctor's time.

He has better things to think about than my asking him about a vaccine I choose not to take.

    It's silly.

    What is your point?

Or you can follow the rules of the road and if someone thinks you going to crash into them move out the way. That or leave three car space in front so if they stop you won't get hurt and vis versa.

I’ll plea to human bias, partiality, and stupidity on this one.

Many pro-vaxxers I’ve come across are always thinking their unvaccinated family members, people they know with immune disorders, allergies, already have been infected and recovered with natural immunity or people they are fond of that don’t take the vaccine because they think it’s too soon- are perfect and safe, harmless individual members of society. Like seeing a beautiful woman who is anti-vax and they don’t care because they want the V.

Anyone they don’t know, are always the dangerous and useless ones to society. Quick to hate, label, attack.

I'm not hunting through the thread to find your posts.

No, it's not moot. Why would you think it is?

Why would you think that "very good but not absolutely perfect" is no better than "nothing at all"?

In fact, the approach you describe is what's actually happening: vaccine mandates.

People who really aren't around other people can stay unvaccinated and just keep on going about their lives. It's only the unvaccinated people who would put people at risk who are being restricted.

I think most would say the same. Just long as we don't perceives everyone who swerves (infects another) is an automatic drunk (unvaxed).

No vaccine is perfect and can be completely tested to see what will happen to any one of billions of people. It's not uncommon for there to be side effects for some people, that's just the way the biology of billions of people happens to be. Just being alive with billions of other people spreading diseases, and with various levels of health conditions, is a risk. Some have low risk, other higher. It's just lottery of life. There will be a few people of hundreds of millions who have complications. Is just a few complications among hundreds of millions enough to concern an individual? No.

In your paragraph above you are concerned about the safety of the vaccine. But aren't you concerned about the safety of those entering hospitals? You're either concerned about safety or you are not. Public health experts have their protocol on how to assess the public so we can be informed about what is going on. There's no nefarious intentions. You seem to have suspicion about public health experts, the media, and perhaps the government.

I'm not sure how this relates. All I said was vaccinated people would be putting others in danger for the fact they can have the delta which is more contagious.

All state mayor's aren't in one consensus. Where I live it's much more relaxed except for day before and after holidays. But in pocket city areas down south he restrictions would be tougher. NY is highly so but FL near opposite.

The closest restrictions go here would probably be back restrictions in schools, healthcare, and government employment. Businesses may have their own choice depending on how big the business is and whether they can afford enforcing restrictions.

I like the weekly test option. We don't know whose asymptomatic and no specific measurement to know who is or not, so I think the test is better for both sides.

Of course the majority would be vaccinated so you guys have a less chance if getting the virus If unvax (or vax) gets infected.

    Too much uncertainty.

That you acknowledge the right thing to do is exactly what you aren't doing. And you don't seem to have any shame.

You gotta put more detail in this and address my point. Otherwise, it's throwing claims out hoping to get a overrated response.

    Articulate your point.
