No craving for meat

We are omnivores so some meat based nutrition is not an option.

I don't understand the old omnivore argument. Teeth? Sure, we have a couple blunt canines. But we're not equipped to take down prey. A lion takes down prey. A coyote hunts its prey. They do this without the aid of guns, arrows, or industrial farming.

If we were really meant to eat cows, pigs, and chickens, we'd have the means to take 'em down with our bare hands.

If we're naturally meant to eat meat, what we should be eating, based on our natural abilities, would be bugs and vermin. I could see fish being considered a possibility.

Granted, I'm not a scientist, but the whole idea of looking at our teeth to determine diet doesn't make sense to me. Our teeth just aren't sharp enough to pierce animal skins in most situations, and we lack useful claws.
