Hi. Most people know that murder isn't what is supposed to be done, even without books and quotes, that is why most people don't murder others, for practically any reason at all ever. Basically, only people who have a craziness in them, are unhinged, violent, messed up people, tend to kill others or murder. Some sane'ish people were put in situations where they were trained and made to kill other humans, like in wars or to fight for their gangs or factions, but studies showed even in these cases people might often try to avoid killing as much as possible, or make it either as painless as possible or quick or try to be as decent as they can be, while a minority of wackjob psychos try to cruelly inflict as much torture and pain as possible, but they still are the minority overall and have problems in their brains and histories most likely, not the norm luckily.
If the vast majority of people calling themselves Muslims were crazy bastahs, most of "everyone else" might be murdered by now, because you're dealing with literally billions who identify themselves as "Muslims" and are old enough and strong enough to murder other people, but they don't, because they aren't sick in the head like the people who do.
A Muslim doesn't even need a book to tell them not to kill others, but they have a book that does tell them that even in some cases or most cases, and there are still nutjobs among them (and everyone else) who kill people, who chop off heads, do all sorts of things, because they ain't right or right in the noggins' the ones who do such things.
Even among all the other people in the world who aren't right in their noggins' in some way, only a minority of the people with mental issues or bad histories actually kill or are violent directly towards animals and humans.
If this nutjob you're referring to, maybe the guy in France, but there are others, was born into a different culture, a different religion, but had the same or similar types of things that made them capable of this insane destructive decision in place, they would do it for any reason, to anyone, for whatever reasons they can come up with. The problem is them mainly, and there isn't much anyone can do about a violent looney toon except catch em, lock em up, and stop them if possible or from doing more once they get started.
There is no book, or no fork on a table, that isn't "telling" a crazy lunatic bent on murder to kill Kill KILL!!!!!
Just be happy that the vast majority of humanity, which a huge portion of identifies as "Muslim" would never, ever, do such a thing, even if you defecated right in front of them on a Qur'an or an image supposed to be of a guy no one alive has ever seen, or whatever. If you do find yourself wanting to defecate on such though, in front of a Muslim, what do you think that would all be about though? You would probably be sort of wacko yourself, and maybe trying to get into a fight or instigate some sort of negative reaction, no?
So, like a person of African descent might not like being called a "Dirty N Word" and, if one person called such is specifically are prone to violence in particular, might beat the living daylights out of you for calling them that or killing you for it. Muslims probably also don't like being harassed or insulted or dealt with in a hostile manner by people, and the violent among them might find this as an excuse or reason to commit violent acts they have been itching to perform anyway.
So, drawing something that is meant to insult something the Muslims identify with strongly, seems like a direct attack to them and their identity, which only a minority might act with violence towards as a reaction, just like racists get away with saying all sorts of crap and barely anyone attacks them for it, but once in a while, you'll get some retributive attack or battle going on.
The people who identify as Muslims are a MASSIVE HUMUNGOUS number and portion of the World Population, so the likelihood of crazies, violent nuts, etc, is increased based on how many overall there are anyway, which basically remains the same regardless of what one identifies as, so there are Atheist Coocoo Violent Freaks, there are Communist ones, Neo-Nazis, Christians, all sorts of brain fart versions in the minority of every group, so if its a minority group, then its a minority of that minority group who may be violent.
Even if there were a "League of Really Violent People" there would only be a minority among them who is actually "Really Violent" and really, that person is unlikely even to be their boss, and bosses are a minority as well, and usually aren't "the most violent one" but "the most convincing, sneaky, manipulative" one.
So which type are you in a group? Most of us are neither Boss nor Violent, but are just the smooth peanut buttery average of lazy, hungry, slightly obese, cuties.
