    They can be Devils!

Beauty is so fleeting and deceptive.

Back when I was as good looking and charming as @Revoltingest I was quite smug to say the least, but I know they aren't all bad , so I'm not bashing Revoltingest.

I find the uglier I become, the more nice , and humble I am, the more my empathy grows, when I look in the mirror and realize I'm uglier than a sack of ****!

In Christian Theology, it is believed the Devil was the most beautiful of Angels.

Guaranteed when I'm an old , fat, bald guy, I'll be more wise and nice than I am now.

My charity and wisdom grows with my receding hairline. I think you catch the drift.

I'm too old for this pride **** and I don't have a car and my ceiling is falling apart. And yes, it makes me more nice than if I was a spoiled brat or full of vanity.

The same is true with women. The pretty ones who receive compliments all the time, feel the world owes them something, with plenty exceptions to the rule of course! :D

    That song has much truth.

I'm just saying, I become less of a punk the more ugly I become. There seems to be a correlation that can't be dismissed.

I think it is better to say, never trust someone based solely off their looks alone. Outward beauty is not a sign of inward character.

Every morning when i look at my self in the mirror i say "Hey you ugly self, what do you have planed for me today" :p Then i think, you are only a reflection of what you think of your self. and i can keep smiling for the rest of the day :)

Hey, don't hate me just because I am handsome ! :D

But seriously speaking, I have noted a pattern where good looking guys and gals on an average, show attitude bordering on arrogance and self-consciousness. But this maybe because of the fact that they tend to attract attention, and attention is food for the ego.

So, you need to have some compassion for them. It's not their fault that they are handsome or beautiful attracting attention as a consequence , and becoming self-conscious and arrogant.

But I have also seen good looking people who are established in mindfulness or love or virtuous conduct, and treating people well.

As far as I am concerned, inward beauty counts more than outer beauty, and I have often got repelled by externally beautiful people when they showed signs of arrogance or attitude in their countenance which struck me as ugly.

Inward beauty is but an excellent character and value system and this is part of the appeal of great leaders and people. Socrates was considered very ugly but he was deeply loved by his disciples and the common masses.

One thing I've enjoyed from going from being young and pretty to Old and Fat(what the kids call me) is feeling safer. Getting too much unwanted attention can be scary as hell. I've had some pretty terrifying experiences, but now that I'm getting older, I don't get bothered so much.

It's far worse if a person is jealous.

There are exceptions to every rule though.

It was poking fun at the statement "never trust a skinny cook".

Try not to covet or be attached to things in this brief life and you will be more happy and wise in this life and the next.
