Free Natural Philosopher & Comparative Mythologist
OP: Natural perceptions verses intellectual and mental constructs.

Video by Natural Philosopher Michael Armstrong.

Video Abstract:
Space! Cosmologically, this word is only good for a vague reference to a region out beyond the observational point.
There is the real VOLUME of the universe and the imaginary infinite extension of the Cartesian coordinates, X Y Z, which we call SPACE.
We mistakenly conflate the two concepts—but they are NOT the same.
This false idea of 'space' cannot be reified nor specified, but neither can 'volume' be reified, although it can be specified.
An abstract cannot turn into something that stretches, shrinks, curves, warps, or ripples.
The MATERIAL inside the volume may ripple, but not volume itself.
Curved space is a staple of 20th century thought—a cliche of science fiction.
Generations of science students have succeeded only in warping their minds.
Taken for granted amongst the learned—it's bad form to protest the absurdity of curved space.
Bottom line? The mathemagical edifice of Einsteinian concept of relativity, and there being no aether, has a false philosophical foundation—it violates axiomatic metaphysical principles.
Space-time is a double reification absurdity.
Natural Philosopher Michael Armstrong presents a massive rethink of all this.

Dear Michael Armstrong, Thanks for this excellent video.

3:24 Ref: “Voids”: Mythologically, this concept is used for describing a pre-conditional situation in space in the cultural Creation Stories. It´s really saying: Before the factual creation of the ancient known cosmos took place, there were unconstructed, “chaotic” cosmic “rivers of clouds” which came whirling together and lightened up the center of this creation.

As our ancestors specifically knew of the Milky Way galaxy at the largest, this Light concerns the luminous Milky Way center and subsequently they had the natural telling of the Solar System. A mytho-cosmo-logical formative Milky Way and solar System connection, which even the modern cosmological science doesn´t have. They have just a random cosmic cloud which suddenly decided to collapse into itself and that’s it.

In the Egyptian Ogdoad Creation Story, the primordial god, Atum, now as Atum-Ra represent the Milky Way luminous center, of which the Sun is “son” of Atum-Ra and mythologically just named Ra, hence the mythical creative focus is on Atum-Ra, the Milky Way center, and secondary the Sun and the Solar System.

5:18 Ref, “Aether”. This was what our ancestors in general called “The Primordial Waters” or “The Cosmic Ocean”, the very foundation for everything. (This ancient mythical concept also connects to the modern “Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation”, the CMBR.

In fact, there is nothing new when understanding the thousands of year empirical human physical and spiritual knowledge. The “NEW PARADIGM” regards a re-discovery and re-launching of this old knowledge.

Michael Armstrong lastly refers to ancient mythological/religious knowledge, and in this connection, watch my video introduction to Mytho-Cosmological Understanding

We couldn't be further down the rabbit hole and there are many many other rabbit holes than the one we have chosen.

In many ways our hole was "preordained" because just as discoveries occur in many places simultaneously, bad science arises simultaneously as well created by thinkers standing on the shoulders of giants. Champollion, Maspero, Freud, Einstein, et many als have charted the course for two centuries of contorted paradigms that have no direct correlation to reality. Now there will be either an upheaval in science that creates more workable paradigms or we will have Tower of Babel 2.0 that wrecks not only science but culture and every economy as well. It would be an extinction level event because there is no going back to the stone age. Our only possible escape is to understand ourselves (including observer effect); we must go back to go forward.

Since science changes only one funeral at a time we might all be doomed. We are rapidly running out of time.

Thanks for the link. I had believed Kuhn was widely accepted now days.

In one breath most scientists will tell you nothing can be proven in science and in the next they'll tell you that there's a single interpretation of evidence and experiment so if you don't go along you are antirational.

There are crises across the sciences now and I believe it is not the result of greatly increased knowledge but that fundamental assumptions are in error. The "big bang" never really made sense an it seems every year there is more weighing against it. If the universe emerged from no volume there is an implication we don't understand either time or space.
